Dortha M. Kilcrease, 86, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral
Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Dr. Howard Batson,
pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be private.
Dortha was born July 16, 1920, in Amarillo to William Henry and Mary
Ethel Lentz. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and attended
the Martha Sunday school. She belonged to the PEO and taught school
for 15 years at Rolling Hills. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Jack Worth Kilcrease, in 1999. Survivors include a
daughter, Mary Nell Webb and husband Jim of Brentwood, Tenn.; a son,
Worth Kilcrease and wife Laura of Austin; a sister, Paula Fuller of
Pecos; and a brother, Tony Fuller of Oklahoma City. The family
suggests memorials be to the Amarillo Area Parkinson's Disease
Association, in care of Rosemary Parks, Treasurer, 2802 Martin Road,
Amarillo, TX 79107.

Charles Longley
HARTFORD � Charles Longley, 76, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at
Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born Dec. 26, 1926, in Masury, the
son of Charles I. and Etta (Davis) Longley. A member of the Army, he
served in Panama during World War II. He was formerly a truck driver
for Copey's Transfer and Frank Cross Trucking in Sharon, Pa. He
retired in 1997 from the Ohio Department of Transportation, where he
worked for 23 years. Mr. Longley was a member of the Ashtabula
County Antique Engine Club. He enjoyed reading, watching auto racing,
gardening and caring for animals. He was a great storyteller. He is
survived by his wife, Barbara (Hodom), whom he married November 20,
1948; two daughters, Barbara Longley and Bonny Michael, of Hartford;
two sons, Charles Longley II and Frank Longley, of Hartford; two
sisters, Doris Stabo of Brunswick, Maine and Edna Rado of Sharon,
Pa.; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in
death by his parents, four sisters and four brothers. Funeral is
2 p.m. Saturday at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 Route 7,
Hartford. The Rev. Dale Thomas of Hartford United Methodist Church
will officiate. Calling hours are noon until time of service Saturday
at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Animal
Welfare League Shelter, 545 Brunstetter Road S.W., Warren, Ohio 44481.

Hartford man was WWII vet, retired from ODOT
Charles Longley, 3470 state Route 7, Hartford, died at 6:35 a.m.
Thursday (1-23-03) in Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, Ohio. He was 76.
Mr. Longley was born Dec. 26, 1926, in Masury to Charles I. and Etta
Orlinda Davis Longley. He served in Panama with the Army during World
War II. Mr. Longley retired in 1997 from Ohio Department of

Ann Klemmer Knowles, 78, of Oakhurst Dr., Stuart, died Monday,
November 15, 1999, at Patrick Community Hospital. She was born in
Illinois on February 5, 1921, and was a daughter of the late Hans
A. and Pearl Wetta Klemmer. She was preceded in death by two
brothers, William F. Klemmer and Hans A. Klemmer Jr. Surviving
are her husband, Roy E. Knowles of the home; and several nieces and
nephews. The family will receive friends tonight (Wednesday) from
7 to 8:30 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Funeral services
and interment will be held at a later date in Illinois. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Vesta Rescue Squad, General
