Mrs. Margaret M. Doverspike, 58, of 922, Price street died at 8:35
a.m. Thursday (Sept 25) at Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been
a patient for three weeks. She had been ill for a month. A native
of McConnelsville, she was born Oct. 8, 1910 a daughter of Wilbur R.
and Etta M. Wilson Jones and had spent most of her life in
Zanesville. Mrs. Doverspike attended the Methodist church.
Surviving are her mother of the home; her hsuband, Lee; two sisters,
Mrs. Kathryn Bright of the home and Mrs. Eleanor Crumbaker of 924
Price street and a brother, Raymond Jones of the home. Another
brother, Robert, preceeded her in death. The body is at the Putnam
Chapel of Bolin Funeral Home where friends may call 7 to 9 p.m.
Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Eleanor Kreager Harold Baughman Wedding Rites
The announcement of the marriage of Mrs. Eleanor Kreager to Harold
Baughman, was made known Saturday night at the home of the bride's
mother, Mrs. Jeannette Kreager, 207 Columbia street, when the
announcement appeared on the tallies used for the four tables of
bridge. The marriage was solemnized at 9:45 o'clock Monday morning,
September 20, in the Central presbyterian church by the Rev. Irving
A. West. Mr. and Mrs. John Foster were attendants of the bridal
couple. For her wedding, the bride wore a two piece eggshell gabardine
dress with brown hat, shoes and gloves. Mrs. Foster wore gold crepe
with black accessories. Small bronze chrysanthemums were used in the
corsages of both the bride of her attendant. A wedding breakfast was
served at the Kreager home to members of the bridal party and the
family. Mr. and Mrs. Baughman departed immediately on a wedding trip
through the East. For travelling the bride wore a tan suit with
brown accessories. The bride, a Lash high school graduate, is a
supervisor at the Bell Telephone company office here. She is a member
of the Central Presbyterian church and of Zanesville chapter No. 52,
Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Baughman, who holds a position with
the Zane Transit company, is a member of St. John's Lutheran church and
the Fraternal Order of Eagles. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
Baughman, 920 Greenwood avenue.

Officials of the Bateman Memorial funeral home announced yesterday that
Harold A. Baughman, of 410 South street, has been employed as ambulance
driver and general assistant. Baughman has had 14 years' experience in
the funeral business here. He served with the United States Marine corps
during the present war, and has been honorably discharged. He is
adjutant-paymaster of the Walter Kildow detachement, Marine corps
league, and is a member of the Disabled American Veterans, American
Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the United Commercial Travelers.

Harold Baughman of 727 Market street, will assume his new duties with
the Glenn Thompson funeral home at White Cottage today, it was learned
yesterday. Well known in this city, Baughman was formerly associated
with the Bateman funeral home on Market street, and has 14 years
experience in the field. He is a member of St. John's Lutheran church,
American Legion, D.A.V., Marine Corps League, and a member of the board
of the Soldiers and Sailors Relief Commission. For the present,
Baughman plans to drive back and forth from his Zanesville residence, but
hopes to establish a home at White Cottage in the near future. In his
new position Baughman will act as assistant to Glenn Thompson and also

Harold A. Baughman, 78, of Racquet Club Court, died at 5:24 Sunday,
March 18, 1984 at Good Samaritan Medical Center following a long
illness. Mr. Baughman was a life resident of this area. He was a
retired County Veterans Service Officer and was a marine veteran of
World War II. Mr. Baughman was a member of St. John's Lutheran
Church and American Legion Post No. 29 and was on the executive board
of United Commercial Travelers many years. He was born June 15,
1905, in Zanesville, a son of Lewis E. and Ruby Dean Baughman.
Preceding him in death was one brother, Edwin Baughman. Surviving
are his wife, the former Eleanor Kreager, whom he married Sept. 20,
1943; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Susan) Wilson of 1690 Rubicon drive;
a granddaughter, Erin Wilson and a grandson, Brian Wilson, both of
1690 Rubicon Drive, and a brother, Cecil F. Baughman of 4270 West
Pike. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. Tuesday at Bryan Funeral Home, where services will be held at
11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. James D. Schmidt officiating. Burial
will be in Memorial Park.

ZANESVILLE -- Eleanor Elizabeth Baughman, 92, of Zanesville passed
away at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at Genesis Hospice
Morrison House. Eleanor was born in Zanesville on August 30, 1912
to the late Anson Franklin and Jeanette Elizabeth Johns Kreager. She
was employed as an operator at the telephone company,Bethesda and
Good Samaritan hospitals, and was a secretary at Market Street
Baptist Church. She was a member of the Charlotte Becker CCL, Women's
Circle at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Eastern Star, and Trinity
Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by her loving daughter,
Susan (Harold) Wilson of Zanesville; two wonderful grandchildren,
Erin (Roy) Carpenter of Newark and Brian Wilson of Cambridge; and
four special great-grandchildren, Shawn and Alissa Carpenter, and
Caitlyn and Macy Wilson. In addition to her parents she was preceded
in death by her husband, Harold A. Kreager in 1984; two brothers,
Franklin and Robert Kreager; and a sister, Mildred Kreager Shipps.
Calling hours will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on
Monday, January 10, 2005 at The Snouffer Funeral Home, 1150 West
Military Road, Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00
p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 in The Snouffer Funeral Home chapel
with the Reverend Gary Richard officiating. Burial will follow in the
Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest
Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Envelopes will be available at The
