DEATH COMES TO MRS WYMER
Funeral services for Mrs. Lenora Brown Wymer will be held Tuesday
afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of Mrs. A. C. Huffman, a
sister-in-law, residing at 1549 Ridge avenue. Rev.S. R. Martin
of the First M. P. church will conduct the services. Mrs. Brown,
wife of Ernest E. Wymer, died at 11:30 Sunday morning in Good
Samaritan hospital following a two months' illness of Bright's
disease. She had been a patient oat the hospital for three weeks.
A native of Williamstown W. Va., she came to Zanesville about 15
years ago and held a position as clerk in the Weber Home store for
10 years prior to her marriage, Jan 31, 1929 to Mr. Wymer. Mrs.
Wymer was a member of the Methodist Proestant church in Marietta
and attended the First M. P. church during her residence in this
city. Surviving are her husband at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
John Brown of Williamstown, W. Va.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Joy, of
Marietta; two brothers, Arthur Brown of Oklahoma and William Brown
of Morgantown, W. Va., and a host of friends whom she numbered by
her acquaintances. The body will be removed from the Trimmer
funeral home to the Huffman residence Monday afternoon.

E.C. Zinsmeister
Word was received Saturday of the death in St. Petersburg, Fla., of
86-year-old Edward C. Zinsmeister, father of C. L. Zinsmeister, of
Newark. A resident of Florida several years, he was a former Newark
resident and was a retired Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Co., employe.
His last place of residence here was in West Church St., and he was
bridge and buildings superintendent for the Newark division of the
B&O. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Zinsmeister; two sons, C.L.
Zinsmeister of Newark and Lloyd C. Zinsmeister of Denver, Colo.; also
a step-daughter, Miss Winona Timberlake of St. Petersburg, and a
brother, Albert H. Zinsmeister of Zanesville. He was a former
resident of Zanesville and a member of the Masonic Order of Nwark.
The funeral and burial will take place in St. Petersburg.

Martin J Walpole (sic), 85, of 1670 Adamsville road, Zanesville's first
Kroger store manager, died at 12:35 a.m. Monday (May 31) at Twilight
Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born May 5 1880 in Morgan
Co., a son of Martin J and Ella Berry Walpole. Mr Walpole was a
member of Central Trinity Methodist Church. His wife Margaret died in
1943. Mr Walpole was the manager of the first Kroger Co., store in
Zanesville and later was associated with a wholesale hardware firm.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Eleanor Snider of 1670 Adamsville road;
a son, Walter Walpole of 925 Marietta street; five grandchildren and
nine great-grandchildren. A brother preceeded him in death. The body
is at Blue Avenue Chaple of Bolin Funeral Home where friends may call
from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Further
arrangements are incomplete.

Marion Walpole
Service for Marion Walpole, 85, of 1670 Adamsville road will be held
at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Blue Avenue Chapel of Bolin Funeral Home
with Rev William W Reiley officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn
Cemetery. Mr Walpole, son of Martin J and Ella Berry Walpole, was
the first manager of the Kroger Store on Lee street. He died Monday
at the Twilight Nursing Home after a long illness. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
