Francis E. Hampton, 55, of 148 Brighton boulevard, custodian of St. Thomas Catholic Schools, died at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday in Bethesda Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday. He was born Aug. 8, 1918, at Misco, a son of Roy L. Estep and Elsie F. Hampton. He had been a resident of Zanesville 32 years. Survivors include his widow, Jeanette Bogard hampton; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Deaver of Columbus, Mrs. Opal Anderson of Stockport and Mrs. Shirley Roush of Sante Fe Springs, Calif.; three brothers, Lincoln Estep of Philo, Robert Estep of San Diego, Calif, and Franklin Estep of Roseville. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. Friends may call at Bolin Funeral Home on Putnam avenue 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
