Funeral services for Arthur Savage, 74, of 3 Young street who died Sunday afternoon at this home from stroke suffered last week will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence with Rev Woods, pastor of the Calvary church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. Mr Savage was a member of the Calvary church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Eliza Savage of the home; three sons, Lloyd Savage of California. and Lewis and Roy Savage of Zanesville; a daughter, Mrs Ethel Hale; two sisters, Mrs James Omen and Mrs Carl Harmon, both of Zanesville; a brother Jim Savage of the adamsville road, and several grandchildren. The body was returned to the residence this afternoon from Trimmer funeral home.

Clarence H. Savage, 72, of Roseville, died this morning at his home following a brief illness. A native of near McLuney, he had spent the past 12 years in Roseville. He was the son of Oscar and Rebecca Nichols Savage, pioneer residents of the McLuney vicinity. Mr. Savage was a retired coal operator and was a member of the Iliff Methodist church. Surviving are his widow, Clara; two sons. Robert of new Lexington and Rolland of Roseville; six daughters, Mrs. George hinkle and Mrs. Dorothy Earley of Clare, Mich; Mrs. Ona Rowe of Midland, Mich; Mrs. Paul Wilson of New Lexington; Mrs. Ron Wilson of Crooksville and Mrs. Virgil Fleming of Roseville; four brothers, Marion Savage, Clinton Savage, and Albert Savage all of Crooksville, Route 2 and James Savage of Toledo; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle McGinnis of Cannelsville; 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at Iliff church with Rev. Cecil Hayes officiating, assisted by rev. Joseph O'Reilly. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be removed to the residence Wednesday morning from the Cannon & Cannon funeral home at Roseville.
