Mrs. Elisabeth Watts, wife of Charles Watts, died of Typhoid fever Oct. 21, at 8 p.m. She was sick about seven weeks. Elizabeth Tracy was born in Hartford county, Md., Oct 2, 1823. Moved to Perry county, Ohio, in 1835. She was united in marriage to Charles Watts July 7, 1842. Seven children were born of this union, the husband and five of whom still survive here. The family moved to Illinois Oct 18, 1868. They located in Ivesdale in 1881, where they have since resided. Her sister and daughter from Caterville, Mo, and daughter from Laroy, Ill., and many other relatives and friends were by her bedside when the Master called. The funeral services were conducted on Monday by Rev. Boyd at the M.E. church, of which she was a faithful member. The remains were followed by her many friends and relatives and laid to rest in the Bement cemetery.

He was an active member of Boy Scout Troop 194 of Bridgeport, the Central Fellowship Church of Christ and the Walk to Emmaus Community. He is survived by his parents, Lowell and Sara Longley of Wichita Falls; his wife, Gatha; two sons, Landon and Russell, both of Bridgeport; brothers, Rick of Wichita Falls and Robert and wife Susan of Euless.
