Robert Lorin Savage, 64, of 110 Seventeenth street SW, with the Eddy Paper Corporation in Cedar Rapids the last 16 years, died at 3:31 a.m. Monday in a Cedar Rapids hospital after a long illness. Born at Port Byron, Ill., he came to Cedar Rapids from Arnolds Park 33 years ago. Mr. Savage was a member of Crescent lodge No. 25, A.F. and A.M., Trowel chapter No. 49; Royal Arch Masons, of which he was past high priest; Palestine council No 27, Royal and Select Masters, Apollo Commandery No. 26, Knights Templar, of which he was past commander; El Kahir Shrine, of which he was past potentate; Iowa Consistory and the Jesters; B.P.O.E.;p and O.E.S. at Milford, Ia. Surviving are his wife, Mary; two sons, Robert of Manitowoc, Wis., and John, of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Claude Galloway, of Port Angeles, Wash., Mrs. Caroline Anderson of Chicago and Mrs. Thomas Kunze of Davis, Calif.; a brother, George, of Savannah, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Hary Frels of Geneseo, Ill.; his mother, Mrs. Robert M. Savage of Port Byron, and five grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Barta-Hesser chapel by Crescent Masonic lodge. Burial will be in Okoboji cemetery at Arnolds Park. Friends may call at the chapel. All Master masons are requested to meet at the Masonic lodge rooms at 3 p.m. Tuesday, all Knights Templar at 2:30.

Robert B. Longley, 68, of Marshfield, Mo., died Tuesday in Toledo Hospital. He was visiting a son, John of 541 Carlton St. Born in Farmington, Ia., Mr Longley lived the last 19 years in Marshfield. A retired mailman, he was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, Marshfield. Also surviving are his wife, Eleanor; daughters, Patricia J., and Donna Sue, and sons, Paul V. and Rickey D., all of Marshfield; Robert E., of Dallas and George D., of Springfield, Mo., The body will be take to the Barber-Edwards Mortuary, Marshfield, for services and burial Saturday.

BORGER - Kenneth Miller Longley, 87, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Church with Jim Loper, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hansford County Cemetery in Spearman by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Longley was born on June 9, 1916, in Spearman. He was a farmer and rancher. Survivors include his wife, Zina Longley; two sons, Darrell Longley of Elizabeth, Colo., and Clifton Longley of Vici, Okla.; a daughter, Geneva Babitzke of Borger; a sister, Evelyn Dodd of Panhandle; five grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Cornerstone Church of Borger.
