Prominent Woman Dies In LaGrange
LaGrange, Ga., Jun 15 - (Special) - The funeral Friday afternoon of Mrs. Judge F. M. Longley, who died on Wednesday, was one of the most impressive funerals ever held in LaGrange. The floral offerings, which came not only from LaGrange people, but also from various parts of the state, were widely commented upon and were the bost beautiful seen in LaGrange for many years. Mrs. Longley was the wife of Judge F. M. Longley, was 60 years of age, and was known far and wide for her good works. Her friends are scattered all over the south, and they join with the bereaved family in their losss. The main living relatives of Mrs. Longley are her husband; her son, Colonel F. P. Longley, of LaGrange; her son, Fuller E. Longley, of Waco, Tex., and her sun, Colonel E. S. Longley, of Muskogee, Okla.

Funeral services for Norman H Weaver, 72, retired coal miner of Roseville who died yesterday at his home from bullet wounds which were said to be self-inflicted will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Cannon & Cannon funeral home at Roseville. Rev. O I Hall, pastor of the Roseville Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Roseville cemetery. Coroner H S Minshull of Perry county said Weaver had shot himself in the abdomen with a shotgun. Ill health was blamed for the act. Weaver had been a resident of Roseville for 38 years. Surviving are his wife Maude Swian Weaver of the home on Franklin avenue, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Skinnin of the home and Mrs. Lula Gilbough of 944 Laurel avenue Zanesville, a son Marion Weaver, of Lancaster, a brother Harry Weaver of 825 Lee street, this city, four great grandchildren. The body is at the funeral home.
