Lydia Savage Dies After Long Illness
Miss Lydia Ann Savage, 49, died at 4 a.m. Saturday at the home of a sister, Mrs. Chester Ketcham of Junction City Route 1, after a lingering illness. She had made her home with the sister for the past three years. Miss Savage was born Oct 14 1910 in McLuney, a daughter of Clinton and Laura Stoneburner Savage. She was a member of the Fairview EUB Church in South Crooksville. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ketcham, at whose home she died, Mrs. Glen Adams of Crooksville Route 2 and Mrs. Raymond Sohrennsen of Crooksville Route 1; a half-sister, Mrs. Hobert Hinkle of McConnelsville and a number of nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Roberts Funeral Home in New Lexington where friends may call after 7 this evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Iliff Methodist Church with Rev. Kenneth Roach officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
