Harry Forker is Suddenly Called Home
Brother of Local Residents Drops Dead of Heart Attack
Harry Foraker, 58, a well known resident of Dresden for many years,
died very suddenly from a heart attack at 11 o'clock Wednesday
morning at his home. He had been downtown in Dresden in the morning
and had just returned home when he was stricken and death occurred
before a physician could be summoned. A native of Madison township,
Mr. Forker moved to Dresden a number of years ago and was a valued
employe of the Dresden paper mill. He was a consistent member of the
Dresden Baptest church and the Modern Woodmen of America. Surviving
are his widow and two children: Mrs. Opal Poorman of Newcomerstown;
Tannehill Forker of the home: four step-children, Mrs. Dewey Frame
and William Crozier of this city, Grover Crozier and Mrs. Esther
Stone of Dresden; his mother Mrs. Mary Forker, Dresden, Route No. 1:
five brothers and two sisters, James and William of Zanesville, Tod
and Jesse of Dresden, Route No. 1; Frank of Defiance; Mrs. Sallie
Grant, city, Mrs. Fern Bowden of Dresden. Funeral services will be
held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Dresden Baptist church with
Rev. Boyd being assisted by Rev. W. B. Patterson. Interment will be
made in Dresden cemetery. Schaumleffel funeral home is in charge.

Mrs. Ollie M. Stotts, 72, who made her home the past 11 years with a
son, Paul Stotts, 1547 Adams St., died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at
County Memorial hospital following a long illness. She was born
May 11, 1889, in Muskingum county, a daughter of Alonzo and Eliza
Atkinson Beatty, and was married to Arthur Stotts, who died in 1945.
She formerly was wmployed at the old Beach Leather Co., this city.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Joseph McNichols, and three sons,
Paul, Larry, and Dick Stotts, all of Coshocton; one sister, Mrs.
William Hittle, Dresden, and nine grandchildren. One sister and
one brother are deceased. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday
at the Dawson funeral home in charge of Rev. R. A. Hall and burial
will be in Prarie Chapel cemetery. Friends will be received at the
funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and until time of
services Sunday.
