William Leroy Eckert, only son of Wallace W. and Grace M. Eckert, of Tyrone, died Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the State Sanatorium, near Sabillasville, at which he had been a patient for four monts. He had been ill six months. Mr. Eckert, who was 22 years of age, was an active member of Baust Reformed church, near Tyrone, in which he was a Sunday School teacher and president of the dramatic club. He was also a member of the choir and of the Westminster Players. Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Virginia May, Madeline and Vera, all at home, and his maternal grandfather, J. E. Haines and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Annie Eckert. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, moeeting at the home at one o'clock, in charge of Rev. M. S. Reifsnider, paster. Pallbearers will be William J. Flohr, Roland Stonesifer, Norman Graham, Albert Little, Paul Bowersox, and Paul Houck. Friends may view the body at the Eckert home Friday night between 7 and 9 o'clock. D. D. Hartzler and Sons, funeral directors.
