Orby Lewis Hubbard, 90, of Hacker Valley, W. Va., formerly of Patrick
County, passed away Saturday January 28, 2006. He was born September
13, 1915, son of the late Thomas Alvis (Al) and Mary Etta Cockram
Hubbard. He was also preceded in death by his first wife; Carrie
Hubbard; Brothers, Frank Hubbard, Luther Hubbard, and Earnest
Hubbard; Sisters, Ruth Hubbard and Anna Mae Burnette, and
great-grandson; Joshua. Survivors include wife, Ruth Hubbard;
ex-wife, Violet Hubbard; sons, Coy Hubbard, Jackie Hubbard;
daughters, Alreda Harvey, Geneva Huff, Sylvia Radozycki, Frances
Hollandsworth, Mabel Agee; stepson, Lonnie Lake, Charlie Lake;
stepdaughters, India Mae Berkley, Zelma Fisher and Reta Brown; 12
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild
and sister, Irene Marsiglia. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday
January 31, 2006 at Skyline Pentecostal Holiness Church, Meadows of
Dan, with the Rev. Mac Cassell officiating. Interment will follow at
Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday
at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd.

CROOKSVILLE -- Mabel Eileen Inman, 84, of Crooksville, passed away
at her daughter's home in East Fultonham at 6:20 a.m. on Monday,
February 18, 2008. Mabel was born in Roseville on April 13, 1923
to the late Lowell & Helen Quillen Emory. Mabel was a very
compassionate and caring person who had worked at Ketchum Nursing
Home and also provided home care. Mabel was also a devoted member
of Deavertown United Methodist Church where she took care of the
cemetery for 55 years. She is survived by a loving daughter, Sandy
(Dick) Reeves of East Fultonham; two sisters, Violette Morgan of
Philo and Dollie Lacey of Crooksville; a sister-in-law, Violet
Wartenbe of the home; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,
Albert "AB" Inman who passed away in 1989; and a son, Randy Inman,
who passed away in 1986. Calling hours will be from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
& 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at The
Crooksville Chapel of The Snouffer Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street,
Crooksville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday,
February 22, 2008 at The Deavertown United Methodist Church with Rev.
Daryl Fourman and Rev. Carolyn Hoskinson officiating. Burial will
follow in the church cemetery.

Hulda Dupie, 78, Dies at M'Connelsville
McConnelsville, O., Dec. 31 - Mrs. Hulda Dupie, aged 87, died at five
o'clock this evening of a bad attack of the grippe complicated with
the infirmities of age. Mrs. Dupie is survived by a son, Virgil Van
Horn, a son by a previous marriage, and a number of nieces and
nephews. Funeral arrangements are not yet made.

Funeral Held
The Funeral of Mrs. Hulda Dupine, will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
at the First Presbyterian church in charge of her pastor, Rev. Alvin
N. Crowe. Mrs. Dupine was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Hammer and was born at Bailey's Ridge, in 1841. She was
married twice, first to Josph Van Horn. To this marriage four
children were born; William Van Horn, Lowell, Ark.; Virgil Van Horn,
McConnelsville; Grant Van Horn of the home, deceased. And Mrs. Flora
Christian of Pasadena, Calif. whose death occurred at that place a
month ago. Since the death of her daughter, Mrs. Dupine's heald has
gradually declined. Her second husband was Banjamin Dupin, deceased.
She was an active member of the Ladies' Bible class of the
Presbyterian church, of which she had been a loyal member for a
number of years. She also held the office of patriotic instructor
in Phil H. Sheridan W.R.C. No 124. Her demice will be sincerely
regretted by all who knew her. Interment will be made in the
cemetery at McConnelsville.
