Charles M. Savage, 53, of Route 2, an employe of James B. Clow & Sons, died in County Memorial hospital at 9:45 p.m. Friday as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage suffered Wednesday. Born Dec 15, 1900, in Tuscarawas township, he was a son of the late John and Rachel Peebles Savage. He was married in 1927 to Mabel Shroyer, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Helen, and a son, Marvin, both of the home; one sister, Mrs. Bert Snell of Guernsey; two brothers, William Savage of Route 3 and Rev. Eugene Savage of Marengo. One daughter and one brother are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday from the Wesleyan Methodist church, of which he was a member. Rev. Robert McIntire will officiate. Burial will be in South Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the residence from 7 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Monday.
