His wife, Ella Knowles Fox preceded him in death. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 22, 1990 at 1:00 p.m. at Fair View Cemetery with the Rev. Frank G. Laine, Jr officiating. Child Fatally Burned Ruth Inman, the five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Inman was seriously and perhaps fatally burned at the family home Wednesday morning. The child had just run outdoors from the kitchen of the home and was completely enveloped in flames from her burning clothing when discovered by the mother. It is though probable that the child's clothing became ignited from a gas stove.

Funeral of Lucie Ruth Inman, Burned To Death, Held Friday at Deavertown
The funeral of Ruth Inman, five year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Inman, whose death Wednesday evening resulted from burns sustained Wednesday morning, was held at the Deavertown M.E. church Friday afternoon and was largely attended. The funeral was under the direction of Cannon & Cannon, and interment made in the Crooksville cemetery.
