Clinton O. Shomber
OSAGE - Clinton O. Shomber, 86, died Friday (Oct. 31, 1997) at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the St. Ansgar Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Gonnerman officiating. Burial will be in the Orchard Cemetery, Orchard. Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. today at the church. Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, is in charge of arrangements. Clinton O. Shomber was born March 14, 1911, in Homewood, Kan. Survivors include four daughters, Louise Hinrichsen, Barbara Miller, Dorothy Turner and Linda Riker, all of Osage; one son, Charles Shomber of Augusta, Ga.; one brother, Harold Shomber of Ottawa, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, one sister, one brother and one son.
