Funeral services for Herbert Ferrell, 55, of 2119 Dresden road, who passed away Saturday morning at the Rocky Glen sanatorium in McConnelsville, following 17 months' illness, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence. Rev. Father Duncan Weeks, pastor of St. James Episcopal church, will officiate and interment will be in Greenwood cemetery. Mr. Ferrell was well known in this city where he had been an employe of the American Rolling Mill Co. for 36 years. He was a member of the Zanesville Area Fraternal Order of Eagles and B.P.O. Elks. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Ferrell, of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Virginia Roush, of Harville, O.; Mrs. Eleanor Paul, of Riverside drive, and Eloise, Dorothy, Mary and Margaret, all of the home; two sons, William and Edward Ferrell, also of the home; his mother, Mrs. Alice Ferrell of Zanesville, a brother, Glen Ferrell, of Canton, and two grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. The body was removed to the home Sunday morning from the Mader-Peoples funeral home.
