Mrs. Allie Kincaid Will Be Buried at Greenlawn
Chauncey, June 3 - Mrs. Allie Kincaid, aged 69, died here Thursday
afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth
Phillips. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the
residence, in charge of the Rev. John Scott of Nelsonville. Burial
will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville. Mrs. Kincaid's
husband, Phillip, was killed in a mine accident at Sugar Creek
several years ago. Besides here sister she leaves two brothers,
George Mason of Glouster, and Joseph Mason of Bishopville.

Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Kincade who died at the home of her
sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Phillips in Morristown were held Saturday at
the M.E. Church in Nelsonville. Rev. H. A. Sayer conducted the
services. Burial was made at Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Kincade's
husband, Phillip Kincaide, was former Chief of Police of
Nelsonville. He met his death sixteen years ago in a mine
accident at Sugar Creek. Besides her sister, she leaves two
brothers, George Mason of Glouster and Joe Mason of Hollister.
Relatives out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs.
F. F. Kincade and daughter of Gordon, W. Va, Mr. and Mrs Forest
Allen and children of Akron, Mr. and Mrs. John Gleason of Athens,
Mr. and Mrs. George Mason, Glouster, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mason,
Hollister, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Mason, Bishopville, Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Mason, Pomeroy, George Smith and children of Glouster, Mrs.
Sylvia Grose, Nelsonville, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Finsterwald,
Nelsonville.

Bernard S. Longley Did auto body repair
A memorial service for Bernard S. Longley, a retired automobile body
and fender repairman, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Mountain
Christian Church in Joppa. Mr. Longley, who was 76, died Wednesday
of cancer in his home in Long Bar Harbor. He retired more than 10
years ago after working for many years for Scott Pontiac, a Bel Air
dealer. Born in Glen Echo, he was reared in Baltimore and in Long
Bar Harbor, which was developed by a great-grandfather. He served
in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member for many years
of the Abingdon Fire Company and also belonged to the Abingdon Lodge
of the Elks. He is survived by his wife, the former Marie D. Schier;
a daughter, Marian J. Longley of Long Bar Harbor; two sons, William R.
Longley of White Marsh and Thomas B. Longley of Long Bar Harbor;
three sisters, Marguerite L. Heuman of Bel Air, Helen L. Preston of
Baltimore and Alice L. Couch of Long Bar Harbor; and two grandchildren.

Charity Bess "Chari" Waldrop, 89, of Sapulpa, went to be with her
Lord Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006. She was born July 31, 1917 in Sapulpa to
Fred and Ivalue Teel. Chari graduated from Sapulpa High School and
attended Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., receiving her
bachelor's degree in music. She was a member of the First Christian
Church. She loved to write poems and songs. She enjoyed playing the
piano. Chari felt having her family, friends and music made her a
very wealthy woman. She is survived by her children, John "Ron"
Pinkston and his wife Phyllis, of Sapulpa, and Sheila Reddick, of
Allen Texas; grandchildren Terri Frazier, John Pinkston and his wife
Michelle, Greg Pinkston and his wife Christy, Lisa Curtius and her
husband Mike, Tracy Laeger and her husband Kevin, Autumne Collins
and her husband Steve, Shauna Worley and her husband Sean, Erica
Galutza and her husband Matt, Andrew Reddick and his wife Angela,
Laura Lank and her husband Tanner, and Casey Reddick; and 16
great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug.
23, 2006 at First Christian Church. Serving as pallbearers were
John Pinkston, Greg Pinkston, Andrew Reddick, Casey Reddick, Mike
Curtius and Sean Worley. The Rev. Gary Radtke will be officiating.
Funeral services were under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
