ZANESVILLE - Marilyn M. Loewendick Walpole, 79, of Zanesville, died
Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at Genesis-Good Samaritan Hospital, after a
six month illness. She was born Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1926, in Zanesville,
the daughter of the late Theodore and Lelia O. Bollinger Loewendick.
She was a lifelong resident of Zanesville and member of St. Thomas
Aquinas Catholic Church. Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband
of 59 years, James E. Walpole Sr.; two sons, James E. (Dora) Walpole
Jr. and Joseph E.Walpole (fiance Becky Wolfe), both of Zanesville;
four daughters, Linda M. (John) McKibben of Dublin, Elaine K. (Jeff)
Marrow and Shelia K. (Jess) Bates, both of Zanesville and Brenda A.
(Don) White of Palm City, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Natalie Chalcraft,
Jennifer O'Brien (Chris) Daugherty, Jesse (Amber) Bates, Joseph Bates,
and Brittany, Emily and Olivia Walpole; two stepgrandchildren, Jennifer
and Jason Ansel; a sister, Shirley A. Twyman of Zanesville; and two
sisters-in-law, Shirley (Bill) Robinson and Helen (Lefty) Shirer, both
of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by brothers, Theodore and Robert Loewendick; and sisters Dorothy
Lemmon and Jean Gainer. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935
Forest Ave. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5,
2005, at the funeral home, with a Dominican Father officiating. Burial
will follow at MemorialPark Cemetery. Send a personal condolence note
