AKERS William "Bill" Estel Akers, age 60, went to be with our Lord Jesus, Thursday, November 9, 2000 at his residence. He worked for 26 years at Stage Inc. R C Barry. Member of Victorious Living Christian Center. Preceded in death by beloved father and mother Carl P. and Harriet Akers and beloved sister Betty Jane (Akers) Smith. He was a very loved and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Survived by loving wife of 41 years, Aleta "Edie"; son, Ed (Tammie) Akers; daughters, Cheryl Akers and Carla (Bob) Craig; very loved grandchildren, Joni, Bethany, Bobby and Morgan; brother, Carl (Sue) Akers; sister, Judy (Earl) Castle; nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2000 at Victorious Living Christian Center, 3537-A Grove City Rd., Grove City, Oh. 43123, where calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Pastor David Frech and Ed Akers officiating.
