Funeral arrangements for Oscar Lee Bowman, 36, Bradshaw farmer who died Thursday at Hendrick Memorial, are pending at Kiker-Warren Funeral Home. Word is awaited from a brother, Wayne A. Bowman of Fairbanks, Alaska. A native of Oaklawn, Mrs. Bowman had lived in Potosi most of his life, moving to Bradshaw about four years ago. He was a member of Cedar Gap Church of Christ. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Bowman, with whom he lived; two brothers, Weldon A. of 1810 McCracken St. and Wayne A. of Fairbanks, Alaska, with the the Armed Forces; two sisters, Mrs. Gene Bowen of Bradshaw, and Mrs. J. W. Taylor of Tuscola; his grandmother, Mrs. Dora Frazier of Houston; four nieces and two nephews.

Funeral for T. A. Bowman, 61, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Elliott's Chapel of Memories with burial in Cedar Gap Cemetery. Mr. Bowman, 2528 Beech, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday in St. Ann Hospital where he had been a patient since Jan. 2. He was born in Taylor County Nov. 20, 1902 and lived in the county all his life. He was a farmer in the Rogers community until his retirement about a year ago, when he moved to Abilene. He married Jessie Roberts in 1924 at Lawn. He was a member of the Church of Christ at 1389 Oak. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Bowen of Bradshaw and Mrs. J. W. Taylor of Abilene; two sons, W. A. of 1810 McCracken and Wayne of 2541 Ross; three sisters, Mrs. R. F. Stanley of Abilene, Mrs. J. D. Lambert of 618 San Jose, and Mrs. Vicie Hawkins of Ovalo; two brothers, J. M. of Tuscola and H. F. of 2202 Palm; and several grandchildren.

Annie Pryor Williams Bradburn, 89, passed away Sept. 3 in Oklahoma City. Annie was born Jul. 6, 1916 in Tarboro, North Carolina to Margaret Regina Carr & W. A. Williams. In 1921 they moved to OKC, where Annie attended Lee Elementary School, Webster Junior High, Central and Classen High Schools, graduating in 1934. She was married to William Winter Bradburn of OKC in 1942, in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he was with the Department of Justice. He died Sept. 27, 1999. Annie was employed by the National Cylinder Gas Co. before her marriage and later by Liberty National Bank for forty years. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and Trinity Sunday School Class there, a volunteer for the "Reach For Recovery" Cancer program, member of Town Hall, Sigma Pi Rho Sorority, Reviewers' Coterie Book Club, Ready-to-Help Club and the Twelfth Night Dance Club. Annie loved to travel, which she had done extensively, she was an avid photographer and accomplished painter. She is survived by her brother, Bruce Williams, and his wife Connie of OKC, brother-in-law Frank Bradburn and wife Marjorie of Idaho Falls, Idaho, sister-in-law, Mary Jean Kidd of Austin, TX; and beloved nieces and nephews, Dianne Snyder and husband Phil of Houston, TX, Gail Garner of Houston, TX, Carl Garner and wife Lavonna of Houston, TX, Brian Bradburn and wife Jeanine of Newbury Park, CA, Julie Milius and husband Eric of Ventura CA and Craig Kidd and wife Linda of Westbury, TX. Visitation will be held from 8am-9pm Wednesday, Sept., 6 & Thursday Sept., 7, at Guardian West. On Thursday the family will gather at the funeral home from 4-6pm to greet friends. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday September 9, 2005 at Guardian West Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 131 NW 4th, OKC, OK 73102.

Member of the First United Methodist Church of Oklahoma City, Ready to HELP Club and various study clubs. Survived by 4 children; 2 sons, William W. Bradburn of Oklahoma City and Frank Bradburn of Idaho Falls, ID; 2 daughters, Bettie Garner of Houston, TX and Mary Jean Kidd of Albuquerque, NM; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Graveside services will be held 10am, Tuesday, May 29, 1990 at Chapel Hil l Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Northwest Expressway and County Line Road, Oklahoma City. Harold F. Bradburn, veteran city realtor of 214 NW 7, died Wednesday afternoon in Mercy hospital. he was 65. Services for Bradburn are set for 10 a.m. Friday in Street & Draper funeral home. Interment will be in Chapel Hill cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made for cancer research. Bradburn, born Feb 3, 1891, in Baltimore, Md., came to Oklahoma City in 1912 and established a real estate firm here. The company which dealt in oil, business and residential property, first was located in the Fidelity building. In later years, he had operated the business from the Broadmoore hotel, 214 NW 7. He was a charter member of the Kiwanis club, and a 32nd degree Mason. Bradburn also belonged to the First Methodist church, the chamber of commerce, Oklahoma City Golf and Country club, and the Oklahoma Real Estate board. Survivors are two sons, Frank and W. W. Bradburn, both of 1218 NW 21; two daughters, Mrs. Carl O Garner and Mrs. Jean Kidd, both of Houston, and six grandchildren.

BRADBURN - William Winter (Bill) was born June 12, 1915 to Harold F. and Gladys Winter Bradburn in OKC. He graduated from Classen HS in 1932 and the University of Oklahoma in 1936. He was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, honorary business fraternity and received his CPA certificate in 1940. During WWII, Bill served with the FBI. He was an accountant with Kerr-McGee Oil Co. for 26 years until his retirement in 1981. Survivors include his wife, Annie of OKC; a sister Mary Jean Kidd of Austin, TX; a brother, Frank(wife Margie) of Idaho Falls, ID; and seven nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bettie Garner. He was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of OKC. Donations may be made to their building fund. Services will be 2:00 PM, Thurs., September 30, 1999 at Guardian West Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.

Daniel "Dan" Joseph Brooks, 74, of Sedro-Woolley, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at home following an extended illness. Dan was the eldest son of Bernice and Claude Brooks, born in Everett, WA April 7, 1926 and was raised in Snohomish County. Dan served in the US Navy during WWII, in the South Pacific on the USS Warrick and the USS ATA 204 and received the following medals: Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign, American Area Campaign, WWII Victory and Philippine Liberation. He was united in marriage to Violet M. West June 29, 1947, in Granite Falls, WA. Together they raised four children: daughter, Valerie and Ronald Barker of Lynnwood, WA; sons: Jim D. and Deborah Brooks of Arlington, WA, Richard D. and Patricia Brooks, and Daniel J. II and Rose Brooks of Sedro-Woolley. Dan was a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, providing for his family as a herdsman at various Skagit County dairy farms, as a mill worker for Weyerhauser in Everett and as a State Forest Warden for the Department of Natural Resources in Sedro-Woolley. Blessed with a close family and many good friends, Dan had a full life and enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout his life. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Dan is also survived by brothers: Leonard Brooks and his wife Juanita of Snohomish, WA and David Brooks of Everett; one sister, Lois and her husband Todd Lewis of Bonney Lake, WA; grandchildren: Susan K. and Michael Curran, Sandra G. and Ralph Prothero Jr. and Dale D. Allison, Joshua and Amanda Brooks, Lauren Brooks, Jessica L. Brooks, Richard Jason Brooks, Yvonne and Mark Nelson, Kristina Brooks, Benjamin Brooks and Michael Brooks; great-grandchildren: Justin and Jesse Prothero, Jenny Marie Curran, ShayAnn Allison, Ariana Brooks, Robby, Cylas and Cody Brooks, Amber, Alyssa, Alex, Aaron and Anthony Nelson; special friends: Jean and Paul Wagner, Lynn and Ralph Prothero, Jeanie Pippin and Marilyn Edson. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson Keven Daniel Allison and a brother Kenneth Brooks. Memorials are suggested to Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 5371, MS-CL-04, Seattle, WA 98105-0371. A service at the graveside will be Friday, June 9, 2000 at 1:00 PM at Hawthorne Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hawthorne Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Troy Queen; and one brother, Alfred Queen. Surviving are her mother, Jean Young Queen of Sedro Woolley, Wash.; her husband, Richard Brooks; one daughter, Jessica Brooks; one son, Jason Brooks; one brother, Bruce Queen of Sedro Woolley; and three grandsons.

Charles Brown, aged 79, prominent resident of Roseville, died at 9 o'clock Friday night at the family home on Zanesville road, near Roseville, after a brief illness of the grip. He had been ailing for 10 years, but the last illness was of nine weeks duration. Mr. Brown was an organizer of the First National bank of Roseville and served the institution in the capacity of president for several years. He retired about 10 years ago when the bank was reorganized. He was a consistent member of the Roseville M.E. church for 60 years and served on the official board for 50 years. He also was affiliated with the Roseville lodge No. 566. F & A. M. Mr. Brown served his home community for 12 years as a member of the Roseville board of education. Surviving are two sons and two daughters; L. B. Brown of Cleveland; Mrs. C. L. Ballou of Columbus; Miss Frances and Karl Brown at home; three brothers and one sister, W. B. Brown of Marion; E. L. Brown and Mrs. Mary Eby of Homestead Fla.; Thomas Brown of Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Roseville M. E. church. Rev. H. H. Stevenson, pastor of the church, will officiate and burial will be made in Roseville cemetery by Cannon & Cannon.

Walter Anderson Byrd, 85, of Ooltewah, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, after a short illness. He was a member of Ooltewah Methodist Church and attended Ooltewah Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a member of the Ooltewah Lodge 741 for more than 50 years. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mabel Hall Byrd, and a sister, Elizabeth Byrd. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Willena Mays Byrd; a daughter, Allison Morgan, both of Ooltewah; and a cousin, Dr. George Hall, of Atlanta. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony DeYoung and the Rev. Burl McMillan officiating. Interment will follow in Ooltewah Cemetery. Mrs. Lois Cannon, 52, wife of Homer Cannon of Crooksville, died early today at Bethesda hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks. A lifelong resident of Crooksville, she was a member of the Crooksville Methodist church and Starlight chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Max of Wharton, W. Va.' a brother, Sylvester Watts of Crooksville, a sister, Mrs. Walter Wharff of East Fultonham and a grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternnon at the Crooksville Methodist church with Rev Roy Ballard officiating. Burial will be in the Crooksville cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence at noon Friday from the Fred L. Cannon funeral home in Crooksville.

She was born July 17, 1934, in Zanesville the daughter of Hallie Switzer Alexander and the late George Alexander. Marlene was a retired school teacher, having taught deaf education at the Pioneer Elementry School. She also taught Special Education at Sheridan Elementry School and later at Tri Valley Schools, where she retired. Marlene was a member of the Ohio Education Association and the National Education Association. Surviving her mother, Hallie Switzer Alexander of Zanesville; one daughter, Lisa Ferguson of Zanesville; three sons, J.Michael (Leesia) Carney of Delaware Ohio, Brent A. (Marlene) Carney of Baltimore Ohio, and Gregory S. (Erin) Carney of Zanesville; one sister, Donna Coleman of Columbus, Ohio; and one brother George (Mary) Alexander Jr. of New Port Ritchie, Fla.; six grandchildren, Rhiannon Carney, Jeremiah and Sarah Ferguson, Emily Carney, Brent Carney II, and Hailee Carney. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Carney (12/19/2005). Lon Lee Carsrud passed away peacefully Aug. 3, 2005, at home. His family and friends were with him, giving him comfort during his final days. In return, he gave them comfort, assuring them that he was going to heaven and will see them there soon. Lon had a strong faith that he shared freely. His Christian brothers and sisters meant so much to him. Lon was born Oct. 27, 1948, in Denver. His mother, June Anton, says, "He has always been a blessing in my life." He married his high school sweetheart, Sharon, on Aug. 6, 1967. They were together for 38 years and raised four wonderful sons. Lon spent 24 years in the Air Force, first in security police and later as a recruiter. He had only great assignments. His favorite and most meaningful place was San Vito, Italy. A special group of friends include Pete Kengla, Richard and Patty Arnold, and Wayne Harris, who all made special trips to visit and pray with him. His sister, Kim, and brother, Bill, also came to visit and encouraged him to stay strong. Lon retired from the Air Force and spent the next stage of his life as a Realtor with Coldwell Banker. He loved working with people, and clients often became his best friends. Shane, his oldest son, was born in the Netherlands. He lives in Fort Collins with his wife, Angela, and her two daughters, Brittany and Sara. Tim was born in Italy and lives in Severance with his wife, Jessica, and their daughter, Meghan. Ben was born in Italy and resides in Fort Collins with his loyal dog, Wiggy. Nathan was born in Albuquerque, N.M., and resides in Fort Collins with his wife, Lynn, and their daughters, Grace, Allison and Kerri. Thanks to all his co-workers for their love and support during the good and difficult times. Special thanks to Hospice for all their care and compassion in making his passing comfortable and meaningful. A memorial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Timberline Church at 2908 S. Timberline Road. She loved to bake and work in the garden. She was always available when needed to help with something. She is survived by her daughter, Susie Dorsett; sisters, Maxine Ludeke, Pearly Trenthan, Ann Bullard and Scottie Newman; brother, John Skotnik; grandchildren, Sherri Saavedra, Julie Dorsett and Johnny Dorsett; great-grandchildren, Crystal, Joe, Vincent and Ryan Saavedra; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Carter, and daughter, Lois Dorsett. GOULD, Okla. - A car-pickup collision about a mile west of Gould on U.S. 82 at 10 a.m. Sunday resulted in the death of three persons. Mrs. Doris Sue Meason, 37, Mrs. Carolyn Sue Cleaton, 20, of Johnson City, Tex., were dead on arrival at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis. W. D. Payne, 41, of Gould, driver of the pickup, burned to death after his truck overturned and caught fire. The Payne vehicle was going east and was passing another car when it collided head-on with the Meason auto, according to State Trooper Bill Lambert of Hollis. ..... Arrangements for Mrs. Cleaton are pending with the Coley Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, Tracy, and her grandmother, Mrs. C. S. Meason of Gould. .... The deaths were the first traffic fatalities recorded this year in Harmon County.

Young of Crooksville, will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Young residence in Crooksville. C. A. Wilson of Pittsburgh will officiate and burial will be in the Crooksville cemetery. The body has been removed to the Young residence from the Cannon and Cannon funeral home at Crooksville. Mr. Cooper was a member of the A. & G. L. Bricklayers union of Columbus. Surviving are his widow, Leanice of the home; two sons, George William Cooper of Columbus and F/O Donald Robert Cooper, stationed witht he Army Air Corps in Guam; two brothers, Donald Cooper of East Liverpool and Robert Cooper of Cambridge; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Allen of Crooksville and Mrs. Charles Rhodes of Columbus, and thee grandchildren.

Cooper and Mrs. Helen Cooper, both of Columbus, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Goebel Funeral Home in Crooksville with burial in Crooksville Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. today. Mrs. Cooper was a daughter of Mrs. Hattie Koon Watts of Crooksville and the late Edgar Watts. She was a member of the Crooksville Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Rolland Cooper, a sister Miss Etta Watts of Crooksville; a brother, Elmer Watts of 407 Brighton boulevard and two nieces and two nephews. A sister, Georgia, is deceased. The body was taken to the Crooksville Chapel of Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home where friends may call after noon today. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Crooksville chapel with Rev. Harley Martin officiating. Burial will be in Crooksville Cemetery.

She was born to Ed and Adell Lamb in Calico Rock on February 21, 1917. She graduated from Calico Rock High School on May 23, 1935. Pauline was the first woman to serve in the military from Izard County. She received an honorable discharge from the United States Army on August 26, 1943. She was employed at Cherokee Village, AR Post Office, and Ouachita Baptist University (1973 - 1987). On August 29, 1943 Pauline was married to Rev. Hugh 0. Cooper and to this union four children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hugh 0. Cooper and parents, Ed and Adell Lamb. Surviving relatives are two son, Gary D Cooper of Fayetteville AR and Eddie L. Cooper of Thayer, MO; two daughters, Cathy E. Williams of Fayetteville, AR and Paula S. Mathews of Louisville, KY; one brother, Jim Lamb of Ellisville, MO; nine grandchildren, David, Dwayne and Daryl Williams, James Cooper and Kim Cooper Ridenoure, Jon Matthews, Heidi Smith, Lynsey and Justin Cooper; four great grandchildren, Zachary and Ashley Smith, Regan Ridenoure, and Hugh Dillon Cooper. The family will be available at the First Baptist Church in Melbourne, from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. for visitation on Friday, September 14.. A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. m the Fellowship Hall of the Church the same day. Burial will follow at the Oxford Cemetery. C C Coulter Dies at Crooksville
CROOKSVILLE - Charles C Coulter, 66, superintendent of the Star Stoneware company here and chairman of the Perry county Republican executive committee, died this morning at his home following an illness of two years. Mr. Coulter who had been superintendent of the pottery company for 32 years, was a member of the Perry county Republican central committee for 30 years. He had headed the executive committee since 1927. He was prominent, in the Methodist church, was a lay delegate to the annual conference, and had been a member of the local church for 45 years. He was also president of the Perry county board of health and of the county tuberculosis association. He was prominent in the Masonic lodge. Mr. Coulter was past master of Peerless lodge, F. and A. M. and past worthy patron of Starlight chapter, Easter Star. He was a member of the village council for several years, and of the school board for 10 years. He was also a member of the Crooksville Chamber of Commerce. His son, Dr. Charles M. Coulter, is pastor of the North Broadway Methodist church at Columbus. Surviving also is his widow, Margaret Watts Coulter; two daughters, Miss Eva Coulter, teacher in the Crooksville schools, and Miss Margaret Jean Coulter, senior at Ohio State university; two granddaughters, Margaret and Mary Jo Coulter, both of Columbus, one brother, C. E. Coulter, Crooksville and two sister, Mrs, Mary Allen, Zanesville, and Mrs. Blanche Gardner, Glouster. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Crooksville Methodist chruch, with Rev. Paul Erial and Rev. Donald Timmerman officiating. Burial will be at Crooksville. Ritualistic services of the Masonic lodge will be held at 7:30 o'clock Friday evening at the residence. The body was removed to the home Thursday afternoon from Cannon and Cannon funeral home, Crooksville.

She was an active longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Giddings. She enjoyed Gardening, cross-word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and her "kitties and doggies." She married Maynard Cowan on December 12, 1936 in Lee County and worked as a telephone operator. She is survived by her son, Kenneth and Marjorie Cowan of Paige; daughters, Janis and Calvin Hannes of Giddings, Eva and Jimmy Ponfick of Beaumont, daughter-in-law, Belle Cowan of Caldwell; grandchildren, Martha Cowan Barnett of Giddings, John L. and Pam Cowan of Smithville, Adrian and Angela Cowan of McDade, Andrea and Kenny Ray of Paige, Allen and Haley Ponfick of Beaumont, Stephen Ponfick of Beaumont, Amy and Derek Taylor of Houston, David and Doreen Hannes of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Shane and Roxanne Cowan of Austin and Aaron Cowan of Canyon Lake; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ona Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Charles H. Cowan; sisters, Flora Belle Placke, Mamie Stork; brothers, infant brother, Junius, Chester, John; grandchildren, William Ashley Cowan, Tommy Cowan, great-granddaughter, Lani Ponfick; and great-great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Cowan. Funeral services were held on November 8, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Giddings. Pastor Tim Clayton presided. Burial was in the Giddings City Cemetery. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a past matron of the Stamford Chapter #269 Order of the Eastern Star, anda member of the Willing Workers Sunday School class. Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, Herman Elmer Cox of Stamford; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph E. and Betty Ann Cox of Dallas, B. Wayne Cox, Capt. Two brothers and a sister are deceased. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Dawson Funeral Home in charge of Rev Forrest Waller. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery. Eckert, Taneytown; three stepchildren, Mrs. Alice C Cox, Washington D.C.: Captain T G Grapster, Norfolk, Va; and Mrs. G. M. Wright, Philadelpelphia; also several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the late home by her pastor, Rev. Irvin Morris, and burial was in Piney Creek Presbyterian cemetery, near Harney.

MOUNT VICTORY - Dano H. Creviston, 52, of Ridgeway RR 1 died Monday at home. He had been in failing heath two years. During a greater part of his lifetime he had farmed in Logan County. Born Aug. 3, 1913 in Union County, he was a son of Pearl C and Massie Belle Smith Creviston. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Methel Fish Creviston; a son, Donald at home; three sisters, Mrs. Howars Oglesbee and Mrs. Edward beale of Bellefontaine and Mrs. Bernard Morris of West Mansfield, and two brothers. Barney of Big Springs and Pearl of Bellefontaine. Another brother Albert, is deceased. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Mackey Funeral Home here. Reve. Lloyd Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Belle Center. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.

Earl Crozier, 81, of Main street, Dresden, retired coal miner and one-time employe of the old Bush Woolen Mill at Dresden, died at 8:30 a.m. at Highland Nursing Home, Zanesville, where he had been a patient since Sept. 1. He had been ill for a year. Born Oct. 8, 1889, in Coshocton County, Mr. Crozier was a son of John and Mary Alice Parks Crozier. His second wife, Sally Grant Crozier, died May 11, 1968. Surviving are two sons, Earl Crozier of Columbus and Paul E. of Dresden; two step daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Erma) Masters of Centerburg and Mrs. Ted (Eva) Baigley of Englewood, Calif.; three step-sons, Harold Grant of El Secundo, Calif., Charles R. Grant of 129 South Willow drive and Forest Grant of North Hollywood, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Zetta Lane of Columbus and Mrs. Vesta Maher of Coshocton; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Dresden Chapel of Baughman and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Spangler officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Sallie E. Crozier, 81, of North main street, Dresden, died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday (May 11) at Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been a patient since April 19. She had been ill for a number of years. She was born on August 13, 1886 near Dresden, a daughter of Euphrates and Mary Watts Forker. Mrs. Crozier was a member of the Dresden Nazarene Church. Surviving are her husband, L. V. Crozier; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Erma) Masters of Centerburg, and Mrs. Ted (Eva) Baigley of Inglewood, Calif.; three sons, Harold Grant of El Sugundo, Calif., Charles Russell Grant of 129 South Willow drive and Forest Grant of North Hollywood, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Earl Crozier of Columbus, and Paul Eugene Crozier of Dresden Route 2; eight step-grandchildren, two step great grandchildren; several neices and nephews. Seven brothers and a sister are deceased. The body was taken to the Dresden Chapel of Baughman and Sons Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Royce Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.

Mrs. Julia Ann Curl, 73, wife of Ross Curl, of Crooksville, died at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her home following a short illness of apoplexy. She was a lifelong resident of Crooksville. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Paul of Crooksville and Rolland Curl of the home; four brothers, Charles, Edward, and Frank Watts, of Crooksville, and Eugene Watts, of North Canton, two sisters, Mrs. J. D. Young and Mrs. Margaret Coulter, both of Crooksville, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Cannon and Cannon funeral home Crooksville, with Mr. Peoples, of the Associated Bible Students, officiating. Burial will be at Crooksville. The body will be removed to the residence Sunday afternoon.

CROOKSVILLE - Paul E Curl, 71, of Crooksville, a retired barber, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday (Sep 23) at home after a long illness. He was born in Crooksville, Feb 18, 1897, a son of Ross C. and Julia Ann Watts Curl. He had been a barber for over 50 years, retiring in 1957. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Eagles Lodge 1979 at Crooksville. A brother, Ersel, preceded him in death. Surviving are his widow, the former Roxie Lee; a son, Bill of the home, a brother, Rolland of Crooksville and two grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at Fred L. Cannon and Sons Funeral Home here where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Earse Maulter officiating. Burial will be in Crooksville Cemetery.

Memorial services for Mary Josephine Longley Curry, who died Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at Crockett County Care Center in Ozona, will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 5 p.m. at St. John s Episcopal Church in Sonora, Texas. Mrs. Curry was the daughter of pioneer ranchers Cam Longley and Josephine Young Longley of Crockett, Terrell and Val Verde counties since the early 1900s. The youngest of five children, Josephine Longley was born October 15, 1913 in Ozona and attended Ozona Public Schools and San Marcos Baptist Academy. She married William Calvert Curry, a pharmacist, in 1935. Mr. and Mrs. Curry lived briefly in Sanderson and Lubbock before settling in San Angelo where Mr. Curry owned Curry Drug Company. In San Angelo, Mrs. Curry was a member of The "32 Club," The Eastern Star and The Daughters of The Nile organizations. After Mr. Currys death in 1967, Mrs. Curry moved to the Longley home in Del Rio to care for her mother. While in Del Rio, she enjoyed her lifelong hobby of painting in the mediums of oil, pastel and china. She was a member of The Del Rio Porcelain Arts Club and the First Christian Church of Del Rio. For the past four years, Mrs. Curry has been a resident of Crockett County Care Center in Ozona. Preceding Josephine Longley in death were her parents; her husband; her sister, Gretchen Longley Word; three brothers, Glen Lawley Longley, Cole Young Longley, and Col. Cam Longley, Jr.; and grandson Alan Neil Emery, Jr. Survivors include a son, Virgil Chrane, and two daughters, Virginia Calvert Curry Epps and husband Ben of Sonora, and Josephine Kay Curry Emery and husband Neil of Langtry. Mrs. Currys grandchildren include Donald Loding Campbell and wife Ruth Ann of Sweetwater, Cam Longley Campbell and wife Erika Jane of Sonora, Calvert Curry Campbell and wife Bonnie Lou of Sonora, and Kimberly Kay Emery Lozano and husband Eddie Lee of Langtry. Great grandchildren include Donald Loding Campbell III (Tres) and Kathleen Ann Campbell of Sweetwater, Chelsey Lou Campbell and Chance Calvert Campbell of Sonora, Laurissa Kay Lozano, Alan Emery Lozano and Kamryn Lea Lozano of Langtry, and numerous nieces and nephews. Our family wishes to express heartfelt appreciation for the professional care and many personal acts of kindness shown to our Mother in the Crockett County Care Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to The Sutton County Health Foundation, P.O. Eugene A. Davis, husband of the late Alice Taylor Coffey Davis, passed away early this morning in his 75th year at the Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since yesterday afternoon. He had been in failing health for the past few years. During the last eight years, he had made his home here with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard D. Johnson, Paoli Pike. His wife died approximately ten years ago. Born in St. Cloud, Minn, he was the son of Freeman E. and Minerva Davis. He was a member of the Methodist Church of West Chester, and the James Carnell Lodge No. 223, F.& A.M., Miami, Florida, where he resided prior to coming to this community. Surviving are the following children: Marian (sic) wife of J.W. Marquis, Walker, Missouri; Katherine, wife of Leonard D. Johnson, Paoli Pike; Freeman E. Davis, Ventura, Calif.; Ruth E., wife of Charles E. Bernard, Alabaster, Mich., and Robert H. Davis, U.S. Navy, Newport News, Va. There are eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

F.E. DAVIS DIED LAST EVENING - F.E. Davis, an invalid for five years, died at his home on Eighth avenue south last evening at 8:30. He suffered a stroke of apoplexy yesterday noon. Mr. Davis was born in Freedom, Maine, Jan. 12, 1848, and was 68 years of age at the time of his death. From Freedom he went to Liberty, Ohio, where he remained until 1868 when he came to Rockville, Minn, where he settled on a farm. Here he married Minerva Longley. One son, Eugene, was born to them and resides at Canon City, Col. Mrs. Davis died many years ago, and Mr. Davis married Ella Payne in 1882. In 1900 Mr. Davis came to St. Cloud and engaged in the cattle buying business.He is survived by his wife and son, Eugene, of Canon City, Col, and one sister, Mrs. Worthing, of Monticello, and a brother, Joseph Davis of this city. Mr. Davis was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Longley and Mrs. Bosworth of this city. The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.

Last rites for Jeff Davis were held today Dec 5 1977, Monday at 2 p.m. from the Thompsonville Methodsit Church with Rev. Tom Hogan pastor of the Eagle Pass First Methodist Church, and the Rev H.C. Newman of the Thompsonville Methodist Church officiating. Mr. Davis died in the Veteran's Hospital in Temple Tx Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Buriel was in the Thompsonville cemetery under the direction of Seydler-Hill funeral home. A resident of Route 2 of Thompsonville Community Mr DAvis was born in Thompsonville Community on Nov 3 1894 the son of J.E.J. Davis and Emma McCoy Davis, natives respectively of Gonzales County. He was a rancher and a farmer.

W.M. Davis (Dave) Davis 77, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, August 7,2007. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m Saturday, September 8 at Thompsonville Church in Thompsonville Tx. He was born January 13,1930 in Waelder Tx, to Jeff and Sadie Davis. In his life Dave Davis traveled two unique career paths, one as a Mining Geologist with Dow Chemical and other as a Math teacher at Shiner High School both of which he loved. In his teaching career as well as with Dow Chemical he touched and enriched the lives of many through his friendship, caring and intellect. He particularly cheished his years in teaching and all of his students. He was a very caring and giving person and in light of that he has chosen to donate his body to science for study in hopes that some knowledge can be gained from or loss. Surivors include his wife Bonnie Davis; three sons David Davis, Jeff Davis, and Tim Davis; five grandchildern; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Wayne Davis and Johnny Davis; and his sisters, Arlene and Merle.

Dayringer on April 14, 1933 in Carthage, MO. Sarah came to Carthage in 1929, where she resided until 1968 retiring to Bolivar, MO in 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bolivar, MO. Survivors include her husband, Joe Dayringer of the home, three sons, Richard Lee Dayringer and wife, Janet, Grove, OK, James Allen Dayringer and wife, Shirley, Rogers, AR and Edgar Joe Dayringer and wife, Paula, Eugene, MO; two daughters, Judith Ann Francisco and husband, Doc, Miami, OK, Nancy Jane Parsons and husband, Larry, Fair Play, MO; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara (Longley) Ruppert, two brothers, Edgar C. Ruppert and Joe M. Ruppert. Visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday August 8 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 9 at the First Baptist Church, Carthage, MO. Rev. Ben Dobbs and Rev. Bill Tatum will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Carthage, MO. BOONSBORO - Lenora Constance Harman Deavers, age 82, of North Main Street, Boonsboro, Md., was received into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007. Born Nov. 9, 1924, in Mozer, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Bessie Greenawalt Harman and Oliver Glenn Harman. Lenora graduated from Petersburg High School in 1942 and received a scholarship to attend the West Virginia Beauty School in Martinsburg, W.Va. After graduating, she worked as a beautician in Hagerstown, Md. Lenora enjoyed serving others throughout her life by volunteering at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro and with the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary for 38 years. She was an active member of Mount Nebo United Methodist Church in Boonsboro. Lenora is survived by her husband of 59 years, J. Wesley Deavers; one daughter, Connie D. Giles and husband, Roger, of Williamsport, Md.; three grandchildren, Barrett Giles of Charlotte, N.C., and Benjamin Giles and Calla Giles, both of Williamsport; one sister, Dolsey Harriman of Kingwood, W.Va.; one brother, Glenn Harman of Fairmont, W.Va.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis T. Harman and wife, Violet, and Marvin Earl Harman and wife, Mary Jane; and two sisters, Sarah Mallow and husband, Lee, and Juanita Sponaugle and husband, Calvin. The family will receive friends at Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro on Thursday, Feb. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Nebo United Methodist Church in Boonsboro. The Rev. Robert G. Brennan Jr. and the Rev. Dr. James Swecker will officiate. Burial will be in Kline Cemetery, Kline, W.Va., at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18. The Rev. Richard Longbon will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00pm Thursday, March 13, 2008 in the Clary Funeral Home Chapel, Mammoth Spring, AR with a service to follow at 7:00pm, Bro. Jimmy Lemonds officiating. Following the service, the body will be cremated, with burial at a later date. Arrangements are being made under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Mammoth Spring, AR.

Rose May Denton, 80, of Mammoth Spring, Ark., was born March 27, 1927, in the Tick Ridge Community and died Aug. 16, 2007, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem. Rose loved to quilt, work outside and cook. She was a loving, caring Me-Maw. She was an active member of the Field Creek Pentecostal Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include: four granddaughters, Michelle Buchanan and husband Doug of Koshkonong, Mo., Lacey Lingenfelter and husband Justin of Mammoth Spring, Melanie Whittaker and husband Kelvin of Bradleyville, Mo. and Melinda Hall and husband Robert of Ava, Mo.; two sons-in-law, David Manes of Mammoth Spring and Jerry Vonallmen of Ava, Mo.; one brother, Paul Parnell and wife Jo of Diamond, Mo.; three sisters-in-law, Pearl Denton, Mary Lee Parnell and Barbara Parnell Kane; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Kate Buchanan, Daniel David Lingenfelter and Hailey Sue Hall; an honorary granddaughter, Chasity Butler; her friend and caregiver, Sonnie Sandridge; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents, James Henry Parnell and Elsie Loeffler-Parnell; her husband, Milo Denton; two daughters, Sandra Sue Vonallmen and Susan (Katy) Manes; one great-granddaughter, Katy Maylee Lingenfelter; two sisters, Agusta Honeycutt and Dorothy Smith; six brothers, Hobart, Raymond, Rudolph, Leonard, Wesley and Harlin. Funeral services were held Aug. 19 at the Clary Chapel in Mammoth Spring with Bro. David Roberts and Bro. Floyd Rikard both officiating. Interment followed in the Tick Ridge Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Mammoth Spring.

Loriel J. Desloge, a former community volunteer in St. Louis, died Sunday (July 23, 2000) at her home in Ladue after a long illness. She was 85. In the 1950s, Mrs. Desloge was a regional chairwoman of the Greater St. Louis Community Chest, now the United Way of Greater St. Louis. She was also a longtime member of the St. Louis Country Club and the Nantucket Yacht Club, and a past board member of the Service Bureau, a charitable group in Ladue. A native of Bronxville, N.Y., she has lived in the St. Louis area since 1937. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 110 North Warson Road, Ladue. Burial will be private. Mrs. Desloge's husband, William Livingston Desloge, a local business executive and civic leader, died in 1998. Among the survivors are two daughters, Loriel D. Hogan of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Rindge, N.H., and Diane D. Clarke of Hingham, Mass.; three sons, William L. Desloge Jr. of Brasov, Romania, Stephen R. Desloge of Wilton, Conn., and Christopher D. Desloge of Darien, Conn.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Desloge Foundation and the Loriel J.
