Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for Ruben Longley, 69, who died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday at his home, 1829 Sinclair Street, after a one-week illness. Surviving are a son, Milan, with whom he lived; a brother, William, Huntertown; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Mongovan & Sons Mortuary after 1 p.m. today. The Rev. Richard Howell will conduct services there and burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.

Funeral services for Richard O Longley, 63, of 824 Fields St., Hammond who died at his home yesterday will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Oexmann Funeral Home on Hohman Av. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Longley was a resident of Hammond for the last 25 years and employed as a machinist at the Sinclair Refining Co. Survivors include his widow, Rebecca; one son, Guy of Hammond, and one brother, Orville of Watsonville, Calif.

Robert B. Longley, 68, of Marshfield, Mo., died Tuesday in Toledo Hospital. He was visiting a son, John of 541 Carlton St. Born in Farmington, Ia., Mr Longley lived the last 19 years in Marshfield. A retired mailman, he was a member of the Temple Baptist Church, Marshfield. Also surviving are his wife, Eleanor; daughters, Patricia J., and Donna Sue, and sons, Paul V. and Rickey D., all of Marshfield; Robert E., of Dallas and George D., of Springfield, Mo., The body will be take to the Barber-Edwards Murtuary, Marshfield, for services and burial Saturday.

Robert Eugene Longley, 59, Springfield, Mo., formerly of Marshfield, Mo., passed away at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, Mo. Mr. Longley was a corrections officer for the Ozarks Correctional Center, Fordland, and had served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; a daughter, Pam Steward, Marshfield; four sons, Randy Longley, Sioux City, Iowa, Kevin Longley, Ozark, Mo., Robert Longley, Bois D'Arc, and Clayton Longley, Springfield; four brothers, John Longley, Tulsa, Okla., George Longley, Strafford, Mo., Paul Longley, Sioux City, Iowa, and Rick Longley, Jefferson City, Mo.; two sisters, Donna Erickson, Sprinfield, Mo., and Pat Williams, Willard and four grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Longley will be at 6 p.m. today, Sept. 24, 1999, in Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield, with the Rev. Melvin Williams officiating. His body has been cremated with burial at a later date in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to be made to the American Diabetes Association in Mr. Longley's memory.

Robert M. Longley has gone home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, October 3, 2004. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on January 14, 1932 in Covington, Oklahoma, the youngest of 6 children. He was veteran, a skilled carpenter, custom cabinet builder, and a scoutmaster when his two sons were younger. After he became paralyzed in the early 1980's, he became very involved with the Mid-American Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America Organization, serving as chapter president for two terms. He and his devoted wife of 51 years were also active volunteers at the Oklahoma City Veteran's hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Harold & Lenora Agnes (Hunter) Longley and 4 of his siblings. Survivors include his wife, Lola Mae of McLoud; brother, George Leonard Longley, of Oklahoma City; sons, R. Sean Longley and wife Cindy of Del City, J. Ky Longley and wife Laura of Van Alstyne, TX; daughters, Kim Whitlock and husband, Troy of McLoud, Lorri Hughes and husband, Larry of Norman, Stacey Herring and husband, Roy of McLoud and 12 grandchildren. Services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, October 7, 2004 at Nicoma Park Church of Christ with Pastor Bud Brandon officiating. Interment will follow at Jamison Cemetery. He was born Feb. 18, 1944, in Washburn Prairie, Mo., to Hurshel Oren and Coila Geneva Porter Longley. He owned his own construction business and was the Operations Manager for MARCK Industries of which he was a founding member. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and he had been a deacon of First Baptist Church of Ketchikan, Ala. Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann Antle; two sons, Carl Kent Longley of Cassville and Douglas Don Longley of Rogers; two daughters, Stacey Lea Longley of Cassville and Tracey Ann Longley of Fair Grove, Mo.; one brother, Charles (Bud) Longley of Cassville; and two grandchildren, Sara Dawn Longley of Cassville and Aubrey Caroline Stoufer of Fair Grove, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Donald Joe, Carl Ross, Howard (Bungle) Lee, and George (Tom) Carroll . Roger received his education in Cassville. He resided in Brownsville Texas, and Ketchikan Alaska but most of his life was spent in Cassville Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; three brothers; one sister; son-in-law, Paul Bradshaw; and great-granddaughter, Melissa Fitzhugh Lopez. Sarah J. McElroy-Longley died at her home in North Farmington, April 29, 1904, at the age of 73 years, six months and four days. She was born in Morgan County, Ohio, Oct.25, 1830, and was married to Geo. W. Longley in January 1848. They came west in 1858 and for a time lived in Athens, Mo. Later they removed to Farmington; and with the exception of a five years' residence in Keokuk, this town has been their home. She was the mother of nine children, five of whom died in former years and four survive, James Longley, Elizabeth Owens, Rebecca Jordon and John Longley. She had eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She has three sisters and one brother, Rebecca Rhodes of Loveland, Col., Ellen Bailey of Farmington, Drusilla Clemmy of LaClede, Mo., and John McElroy. She united with the Farmington Baptist church some twenty-five years ago and amid trials and afflictions of a peculiar and distressing kind has sought to serve the Lord. In her last illness, which was of six weeks duration, she often expressed the desire to meet her Savior and be at rest. Funeral services were held in the Baptist church, Sunday May 1, 1904, at 2 p.m. Rev. Longson reading scripture and Elder Jas. McKiernan delivering the sermon - Interment in Farmington cemetery.

GREENFIELD -- Stephen R. Longley, 55, of 345 Federal St. died Wednesday (1-9-08) at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. He was born in Baltimore, Md., July 13, 1952, the son of Ralph W. and Dorothy (Leonard) Longley. He had been a resident of Greenfield for several years. Survivors, besides his mother of Greenfield, include three brothers, Gary Longley of West Springfield, Morris Longley of Colrain and Ernest Longley of Northampton; three nieces, Laura Longley of Chicopee, Meagan Ruffing of Mount Vernon, Mo., and Jessica Longley of South Hadley, and a nephew, Donald Longley of Abilene, Texas. He was predeceased by his sister, Joanne, who died Jan. 28, 2006. There are no services. Burial will be in Plain Cemetery, Ashfield, in the spring. Cards of sympathy may be sent to 80 Brush Hill Ave., No. 28, West Springfield, MA 01089, in care of Gary Longley. OLD SETTLER GONE - Uncle Tom Longley died at his home, southeast of Archer City, Monday and was buried here Tuesday afternoon. His death had been expected for sometime, as he had been in feeble health for a long time and complications had arisen which usually prove fatal to one of his years. Mr. Longley came to this county in 1878 and has lead a very active life since coming. He has been identified with the stock raising interests of the county. He had amassed property valued at $40,000. He was buried under the direction of the Masonic lodge at this place. He leaves a large family and many friends to mourn his death. Mr. Longley was born Sept. 4, 1971, in Sharon, the son of J. Patrick Longley and Mary Patricia Drolsbaugh Longley. He was a 1990 graduate of Brookfield High School and was employed as lead guitarist for three years for Great White. He also instructed private guitar lessons in Los Angeles. Ty served as a sales representative for Bad Cat amplifiers. He was a member of Artist Way, a select group of creative members of the arts nationally who meet to promote the arts. He is survived by: his father, J. Patrick Longley and his companion, Sue Perry, Burghill; his mother, Mary Patricia Frederickson and her husband Tim, Valdosta, Ga.; his sister, Audrey Lynn Dinger and her husband Edward, Sharon; his niece, Macie Kaye Dinger, also Sharon; his maternal grandmother, Perry Jane Drolsbaugh, Fort Myers, Fla.; and Ty's companion, Heidi Peralta of Plainfield, Ill. He also leaves many uncles, aunts and stepbrothers. She married Kenneth Longley on Nov. 21, 1938 in Arnett, Okla. and he preceded her in death in 2003. Zina is survived by two sons, Darrel Longley and wife Vera of Elizabeth, Colo. and Clifton Longley and wife Twila of Vici, Okla., a daughter Geneva Babitzke and husband Calvin of Borger, a sister-in-law Evelyn Dodd of Borger, five grandchildren, Brenda Daley of Parker, Colo., David Longley of Pahrump, Nev., Tracy Longley of Vici, Okla., Trevor Longley of Laverne, Okla., and Trampus Longley of Vici, Okla., eight greatgrandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He married Virginia Ann Shively in June of 1941 and served in the Armed Forces Adjutant General's Department from 1942 through 1946 in the ETO. After leaving the service, he moved to Fort Worth, where he worked for Convair for two years and subsequently joined Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company. Forrest was a procedures analyst with the garment company for 35 years from which he retired at the age of 70. Forrest was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, serving on its administrative board and a member of the Twosome Class. He was active in the church's television program. Forrest Lowder was a member of the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth and the Carousel Dance Club. An avid Ham Radio Operator. He was past president of the Fort Worth Kilocycle Club and a member of the Military Amateur Radio Service. He helped with reporting many weather related emergencies. He was a boy scout master and was actively engaged in the Peewee football and baseball leagues in Fort Worth. Forrest was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Ann Lowder; his father, Opal Hamilton Lowder; and his mother, Edna Konezski Wood. Eugene Maneely, 54, of 24 Ceramic avenue, lifelong resident of Zanesville, was dead on arrival at Newark City Hospital Saturday afternoon after suffering a heart attack while visiting friends there. Mr. Maneely was born August 8, 1909, a son of Robert Sr. and Mae Lannon Maneely. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church; Sertoma Club; American Legion, and a veteran of World War II. He was employed as a salesman for the Commercial Printing Company. Surviving are his widow, the former Ann Longley of the home; his mother, Mrs. Robert Maneely Sr., of 306 Eighth street; three brothers, Clarence of Columbus, Robert Jr. of Melody Lake, and Francis of 302 Chwiah street; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Yahn of Palm Desert, Calif.; several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Putnam Chapel of Bolin and Bryan Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 p.m. today. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. May Mangan, wife of Thomas Mangan, of 1916 West Fourth street, died at 12:35 o'clock this morning at the family home, at the age of 42 years and 7 months. Death was due to tuberculosis, and followed an illness of eighteen months. Mrs. Mangan was born in Noble Co., 25 Jul 1874, but had resided in Fort Wayne for the past twenty two years. Surviving besides the husband, who is a fireman at the plant of the Perfection Biscuit company, is one son, John Mangan, the father, Reuben F. Longley, and two brothers Reuben and William Longley, all of whom reside in Fort Wayne. The arrangements for the funeral have not been completed.

A graduate of Columbus Central High School, Georgia was a vivacious, musically gifted woman who performed in local operettas and proudly sang and directed her church choir. While living in Zanesville with her husband, Bernard, she was active in the Charity Circle of Good Samaritan Hospital and enjoyed a reputation as a stellar Bridge and Scrabble player. Always possessed with a cheerful outlook and sunny smile, Georgia was the daughter/sister/aunt who epitomized the word "family". She was always there for us. Georgia infused her enthusiasm to all who were around her. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Predeceasing Georgia are her parents, husband Bernard, sister Anna Pappas, brothers Jim, Gus and Steve and nephew John N. Pappas. Paul Mayfield, 79, general contractor in this area for many years, died at 12:50 a.m. today in Marion General Hospital following an illness of several years. His home was 575 Blake Ave. A native of Fulton, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lucile Mayfield; 2 daughters, Mrs. William (Virginia) Wetterauer of 801 Daffodil Dr., and Mrs. Marilyn Willmeth of 387 E. Farmint St.; a son, Paul J. Mayfield of Pomona, Calif.; 2 brothers, Raymond of Pittsburgh, Pa, and Edgar of Bessemer, Pa. 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Gunder Funeral Home by the Rev. Melvin Truex. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday Morning.

Mrs. Lucile (Kinney) Mayfield, 70, of 387 E. Farming St., died at 4 a.m. Tuesday in Marion Manor Nurcing Home. A Richwood native, she marrie Elmer P. Mayfield who preceeded her in death Feb 15, 1975. Surviving are a son, E. Paul Jr. of Pomona Calif.; 2 daughters, Mrs. William (Virginia) Wetterauer of 801 Daffodil Dr. and Mrs. Maryiln Willmeth of 387 E. Farming St., with home Mrs. Mayfield lived. Also surviving are two brothers, Eugene Kinney of 580 Henry St. and Revilo Kinney of San Jose, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Gunder Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Treux officiating. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Hayes, at home; one son, Tommy Hayes of Vancouver; three daughters, Corina, Shauna and Dawn Hayes, all of Vancouver; one brother, Ron Longley of San Jose; two sisters, Sandy Haney of San Jose, Calif., and Darlene Titsworth of Santa Maria, Calif.; and three grandchildren. A funeral will begin Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.

Rosalie McCloud, 79, of Eufaula, died Sunday. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the Eufaula First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Vernon Lawrence officiating. Committal service will be 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are by Black's Funeral Home, Eufaula. Mrs. McCloud was born April 12, 1916, at Marlow, Ok., the daughter of Ernest & Dora (Dunn) Overby. She was reared and attended school in the Marlow area and graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1933. She was married to Wallace McCloud on August 2, 1941, at OKC, where they resided for many years. She was employed by the Veazey Drug Stores for more than 20 years. They moved to Eufaula in 1979 following retirement. She was a member of the Eufaula First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Friendly Lake Eufaula Area Supporters. Survivors include her husband, Wallace, of the home; a sister, Hazel Hitchins & a brother, William H. Overby, both of OKC.

Wallace M McCloud was born 3-22-17 in Cambria, OK to John and Mary E. Patterson McCloud. He graduated from McAlester High School in 1934 and moved to Oklahoma City the same year. He married Rosalie Overbey in 1941. She preceded him in death in 1995. He served in the US Air Force European Theatre from 1941 1945. He retired from the US Postal Service as Director of Mail Processing in 1972 after 25 years of service. After retirement he lived on Lake Eufaula for 17 years, returning to Oklahoma City in 1996. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and NARFE. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers John Jr. and Harold A. McCloud and sister Mary E. (McCloud) Cantrell. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; brothers Jess R. of Moore and Joe P. McCloud of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law Jeanette McCloud of New Orleans, LA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 27, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. at Guardian West Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Samuel Rankin McLure Jr. passed away Sunday afternoon, April 14, 2002, at the V.A. hospital in Houston. Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at Lakewood Funeral Chapel with Doug Raymer officiating. He was a long-time resident of Freeport, graduating from Freeport High School in 1941. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII and saw action in France. After the war, he was employed by Freeport Sulphur Co. and Moore Electric in Freeport. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his son, Sammy Ray McLure and wife, Kathrine, of Richwood; daughter, Sheila Bernice Compton of Bandera; and five grandchildren: Christopher Dale Compton, James Andrew McLure, Monica Gene Powell, Rhonda Kimmitz and Doyle "Bubba" Kimmitz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velda Maddox McLure; son, Danny James McLure; parents, Samuel Rankin McLure Sr. and Lettie Mae Schaefer McLure; and sister, LaRue Epperson. Pallbearers will be Billie Mack Williams, Lou Eperspacher, John T. McLure III, Luke Powell, Anthony McLure and Christopher Compton. Arrangements by Lake-wood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson, Texas.
