ROSEVILLE, O. - Miss Pearl Smitley, 40 died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Anna Roe, at Roseville on Sunday at 5:30 a.m. following two weeks illness. She is survived by her mother; six sisters, Mrs. Kyle Myers of the home, Mrs. Gene Cummins of Dover, Mrs. Charles Quinn of Roseville, Mrs. Samuell Puterbaugh of New Lexington, Mrs. Walter Styers of Walhonding, O., and Mrs. William Wilson of Zanesville; four brothers, Earl Smitley, of Roseville, James Roe, U. S. Army, Mo., Gene Roe of Texas, Jack Roe of the U. S. Navy. Miss Smitley was a member of the U. B. church of Roseville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock at the Iliff Methodist church with Rev. Morril Lucas officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. The body was removed to the home Sunday evening by Cannon & Cannon.

Bertie (Bert) Snell, 79, Guernsey Route 2, died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday at his home. He was born June 18, 1879, at Orange, a son of Theodore and Catherine Deeds Snell. May 10, 1900, he was married to Birdie Lane, who died Sept. 20, 1922. April 15, 1925, he was married to Susanna Savage, who survives with the following children; Mrs. Harry Peters, Newcomerstown Route 3, Homer Snell and Vernon Snell, Newcomerstown, Mrs. Harold Durben, Newcomerstown Route 2, Delbert Snell, Zanesville; one sister, Mrs. Mary Simmons, West Lafayette Route 1, two brothers, John Snell, Guernsey Route 2; Clifford Snell, Guernsey Route 2; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One son, two brothers, and one sister are deceased. He was a member of the Newcomerstown Nazarene church and the Painfield Grange. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Otsego Methodist church, witht he pastor, Rev. E. O. Little, Rev. Clair St. John, Newcomerstown, and Rev. Paul Harris of Cambridge officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Bonnel funeral home in West Lafayette this evening from 7 to 9, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Necomerstown - Mrs. Anna Snell, 74, of 331 W. Neighbor St., Newcomerstown, died at 4:48 a.m. today at County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. She was born June 20, 1898, in Coshocton County, a daughter of John and Rachel Peebles Savage. On April 15, 1925, she was married to Bert Snell, who died Sept. 21, 1958. Mrs. Snell was a member of the Newcomerstown Nazarene Church and the Ladies Bible Class. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Ella) Durben, Newcomerstown; one son, Master Sgt. Delbert Snell, U.S. Air Force, Ft. meade, Md.; two step sons, Homer Snell, Newcomerstown and Vernon Snell, Newcomerstown Route 3; one brother, the Rev. Eugene Savage, New Castle, Ind.; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and 17 step-great-grandchildren. One step daughter and three brothers are deceased. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Newcomerstown Nazarene Church with the rev. Gerald Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Otsego Community Cemetery. Friends may call at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown Saturday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Material Company died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient since Aug 27. He had been ill five and a half months. Born in Avon, W. Va., Feb 6, 1902, he was a son of John and Suzanne Cox Snider. He had lived here since 1936. Mr. Snider was a member of Central Trinity Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, Eleanor; a son, Carl Jr. and a daughter, Miss Carolyn Sue Snider, all of the home; five brothers, William and Albert, both of Salem W. Va., Howard of Clarksburg, W. Va., James of Follensbee, W. Va. and Hewey of 1237 Blandy avenue, a sister Mrs. Virginia Davis of Baltimore, Md, and several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Forest Avenue Chapel of Bolin-Bryan Funeral Home where friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday.

Sohrenssen, a senior at Crooksville High School, died at 8:26 p.m. Saturday night at Good Samaritan Medical Center after collapsing during the Crooksville - New Lexington basketball game in CHS gymnasium. He was born Dec. 18, 1954, in Zanesville, the son of Raymond and Rose Savage Sohrenssen of Crooksville Route 2. He was a member of Rose Farm Christian Church. Active in school organizations he played trumpet in the school band and was a member of the dance band, National Honor Society, Science Club and Spanish Club of the school. Surviving are the parents and a sister, Mrs. Carolyn Pettit of near Roseville Route. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.

Deavertown Man Dies Wednesday at Athens
Robert Pickens Stanberry, a life-long resident of Deavertown, died at the Athens hospital Wednesday where he had been under treatment for several months. The deceased is survived by his wife, Lillian Inman-Stanberry, three sons, Charles, Raymond and Gene, of the home; and two daughters, Mrs. Robert Harper of Roseville, and Hattie May, of the home, Also surviving are his father, E.L. Stanberry of Deavertown; two brothers, Edgar R. Stanberry of Athens, O., and Elwood M. Stanberry of Fort Wayne, Ind., and two sisters, Mrs. Ronald Wilson and Miss Letha Stanberry, both of Crooksville. The deceased was a member of Doric Lodge, F. & A. M. of Deavertown. Masonic funeral services will be conducted by Doric lodge, No. 172, F.& A.M., in the York township high school auditorium at Deavertown, Saturday at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. C. P. Stotler will officiate and burial will be made in Deavertown cemetery by Cannon & Cannon.

Mrs. Bertha M. Stanley, 77, formerly of Zanesville, died early Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dorotha Roth, 8988 Akron-Cleveland road, Northfield, after a long illness. A native of Beverly, she was born Aug. 15, 1884, a daughter of Uriah and Sarah Wilson and had lived in Zanesville 39 years until moving to Cuyahoga Falls last April following the death of her husband, Herman. She had been a member of the Beverly First Christian Church. Mrs. Stanley is survived by a son, William D., of Canton; the daughter, Mrs. Roth; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Clifford Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls where friends are being received and where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Chestnut Hills Cemetery in that city.

Herman A. Stanley, 81, a resident of Zanesville until two weeks ago, died Tuesday afternoon in Cuyahoga Falls where he and his wife had cone to make their home with a daughter. Mr. Stanley was ill only a few days. He and Mrs. Stanley formerly lived on Jefferson street. A native of Beverly, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Stanley. He had lived in Zanesville for 39 years and retired in 1948 after working as a crossing watchman for the Pennsylvania Railroad for 30 years. Mrs. Stanley was a member of First Christian Church in Beverly and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Surviving are his widow, Bertha; a son, William D. of Canton; the daughter. Mrs. Dorotha Roth of Cuyahoga Falls; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Clifford Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls where services will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Chestnut Hills Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.

Born Feb 18, 1891, in Zanesville, he was a son of Jacob and Amalga Dobbins Stanley. He moved to Peebles in 1937 and was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union. Surviving are one son, Robert Stanley of Batavia, six daughters, Mrs. Mary Mitchell, Mrs. Hazel Padlock, Mrs. Dorothy Mathews, and Mrs. Ruth Johnson, all of Peebles, Mrs. Ellen Zissinger of Hillsboro and Mrs. Betty Royce of Manchester, two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Evans, and Mrs. Mary Leukesberry of Zanesville, and one brother, Earl Stanley of Key West, Fla. Funeral services for Jacob M. Stanley, 69, will be conducted from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jasper Evans in Chatham Road, Newark, Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery in this city. Mr. Stanley, a former resident of Zanesville, died Wednesday at the home of his daughter. He had been at the home of Mrs. Evans four weeks going there from Manchester where he had been
staying with his son, Jacob Stanley. His death was attributed to complications following the removal of his left eye, suffered when a piece of wood struck the eye while he was splitting kindling wood while at the home of his son in Manchester. The son of Amos Stanley, he was a native of Morgan county. He had been retired 14 years and prior to that was in the employ of the Herdman Lumber company in Zanesville as a yardman for several years. Three daughters, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Forrest Tewksbury of East Fultonham, Mrs. Lloyd Kleinhoffer of Zanesville and two sons, Earl Stanley of Washington, D.C., and Jacob Stanley of Manchester, survive; also four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is the last of his generation. Mr. Stanley was a member of the Nazarene church of Manchester. The body has been removed from the Criss Brothers funeral home to the home of the daughter.

Member of Bucyrus Jury Dies of Stroke; Rites Monday
Bucyrus, Dec. 17 - En route to his home at 824 Maple street after having served all day Friday as a member of the jury in common pleas court, Edward Stauffer, 71, was taken ill and died of a stroke of apoplexy shortly after he had entered a confectionary store to rest. He was born in North Robinson, six miles east of this city, Nov. 15, 1861, but had been a resident of Bucyrus nearly all his life. He was employed for 12 years as a machinist at the Ohio Locomotive Crane Co. He was a son of John and Catherine Furhman. His marriage to Flora Lear took place in Zanesville June 1, 1884. Mrs Stauffer died about a year ago. Surviving are one son, Edward Jr., of Alexandria, O, one daughter, Mrs. Rachel Smith of Bucyrus; one brother, Frank Stauffer of Bucyrus; three sisters, Theresa and Elizabeth Stauffer of Bucyrus and Mrs. Harriet Squire of Carey, O., and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home Monday at 2 p.m. Rev John D. Green, pastor of First Methodist church, will conduct the service and burual will be in Oakwood cemetery. Frank Muns, funeral director, is in charge.

Bucyrus, April 3 - Mrs. Flora A Stauffer, of 824 Maple street died at 9 p.m. yesterday morning. She had been ill three months. Mrs. Stauffer was born Jan 1, 1867 in Ohio and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lear. Her marriage to Edward Stauffer took place June 1, 1885. Surviving with the husband are one daughter, Mrs. Rachel Smith of this place and one son, Edward Stauffer Jr. of Alexandria. Three sisters, Mrs. Alice Robinson and Mrs. Fred Effeet of McLuney and Mrs. Margaret Brown of Crooksville, four brothers John, George Clifford and Frank Lear all of McCluney and three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the home. Rev. John Green of the First Methodist church officiating. Interment will be made in Oakwood cemetery.

Born Feb 24, 1906, in Perry County, she was a daughter of Charles and Ann Savage Smitley. She was married to Walter Styers, who survives. She had formerly resided in Coshocton County. Surviving besides the husband are a daughter, Sinda, of the home; three brothers, Earl Styers, Zanesville, Jack Roe, California, and James Roe of Danville, and three sisters, Mrs, Agnes Fleming, Mrs. Josephine Cummins and Mrs. Harriet Quinn all of Zanesville. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Tiverton Baptist Church in charge of Rev. James Hunter. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery at Danville. Mr. Sullivan was born Nov. 14, 1918, in Ferry, Okla., to David and Alice (Mitchell) Sullivan. He grew up in Rifle, and graduated from Rifle Union High School in 1937. He later served in the Army, was discharged in November 1941 and was drafted back into service one year later. His second discharge came in September 1945. On Dec. 2, 1945, he married Virtiadean Knox in Brush. The couple farmed and operated a dairy in Brush. In 1964 the couple sold the farm and moved to Sterling, where he worked for the highway department. He bought a farm near Atwood in 1968. Mr. Sullivan retired from the highway department in 1984 and moved to Greeley. He served as a deacon at Assembly of God churches in Brush and Sterling, and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Greeley. Mr. Sullivan is survived by wife Virtiadean, Greeley; daughters Jan Bartram, Greeley, and Kathy Mackey, Sterling; sons Don Sullivan, Greeley, and John Sullivan, Gill; sisters Florence Falk, Greeley, Irene Long, Bartlesville, Okla., Zella Rae Warehime and Delores Hatcher, both of Evans; brothers Earl Sullivan, Greeley, and Art Sullivan, Monte Vista; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Mildred McGraw and Jenavee Duncan. NEW LEXINGTON -- Naomi L. Thomas, 82, of 920 South Main St., New Lexington, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at Sunbridge Care Center, New Lexington. She was born May 23, 1924, in Perry County, a daughter of the late Ernest W. and Jerusha P. Savage Munyan. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of New Lexington. Survivors include her two daughters, Patty Morris of New Lexington and Charolette (Jerry) Brown of Hocking County; a brother, William (Betty J.) Munyan of New Lexington; and seven grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Whitmer, Alfred Goodin and Russell Thomas; two brothers, Phillip Nelson Munyan and James Munyan; and a sister, Flora Mae Weekly. Linda L. Thompson, 48, of Winterset died of cancer Tuesday, May 5, 1998, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 8, at the Macksburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Neil Platon officiating. Burial will be at Peru Cemetery. Linda Thompson was born March 15, 1950, at Osceola to Richard Dean and Mary Lois (Decker) Dillinger. She married Sam Thompson on Dec. 31, 1984, at Lorimor. She had been a resident of Winterset for the past six years, having moved from Lorimor. Linda was a bank teller at Farmers & Merchants State Bank in Winterset. She also belonged to the Farmers & Merchants Bowling League, Social Circle Club and the Macksburg United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by one sister. She is survived by her parents of Peru; her husband; two sons, Richie McKinney (friend Cheryl) of West Des Moines and Jonni Jo Holtry (wife Barbie) of Lorimor; two daughters, Sherri Munoz of Winterset and Laura Forret (husband Eric) of Waukee; one brother, Dick Dillinger of Lorimor, one sister, Sharon Holtry, also of Lorimor, grandparents Verl and Inez Dillinger of Peru; and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Lillian Inman Tysinger, 66, of Blue Rock Route 1, near Gaysport, died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 12) at Bethesda Hospital from an apparent heart attack. She had been admitted Wednesday evening. She was born Aug. 5, 1902, at Misco, a daughter of Stephen and Winifred Savage Inman. She moved to the Gaysport area in 1946. Mrs. Tysinger was a member of Gaysport United Methodist Church. ZANESVILLE -James E. "Jim" Walpole, 79, of Zanesville, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at his residence following a short illness. He was born April 22, 1927, in Zanesville, to the late Walter V. and Isabelle Lawson Walpole. He was a lifelong resident of Zanesville, and member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He retired from Continental Can Company/American National Can Company of Newark, following 38 years of service. Following retirement, he worked for Northside Pharmacy for 15 years delivering medicines and supplies to local residents and facilities. He was well known in the community as a kind and caring man, quick to offer a smile, a generous gesture and an encouraging word. His positive attitude and outlook on life was a comfort to his many friends, and his loving family. He was respected and admired by all who knew him. Jim was a veteran of the armed services having served a total of 11 years in service to his country. He served in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps. He served as Seaman 1st class in the U.S. Navy for three years and retired from the military as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps after eight years of service. He served during both World War II and the Korean War. He completed his military in 1953. Jim was a member of Monsignor Drury Council of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid music fan and found many ways to make music part of everyday life. With very little formal instruction, his talent and love of music inspired him to play several instruments over the course of his life, including the harmonica, accordion, guitar, and organ. He inspired all who heard him play. He was a sailor, a soldier, a musician, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a dear friend. He was a remarkable man who will be sadly missed. He is survived by two sons, James E. (Dora) Walpole Jr., and Joseph E. (fiance Becky Wolfe) Walpole both of Zanesville; four daughters, Linda M. (John) McKribben of Columbus, Elaine K. (Jeff) Morrow and Sheila K. (Jess) Bates of Zanesville, and Brenda A. (Don) White of Palm City, Fl.; seven grandchildren, Natalie Chalcraft (Garry) Forth, Jennifer O'Brien (Chris) Daugherty, Jesse J. (Amber) Bates, Joseph Bates, and Brittany, Emily and Olivia Walpole; two step-grandchildren, Jennifer and Jason Ansel; two sisters, Shirley (Bill) Robison and Helen (Lefty) Shirer of Zanesville; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Loewendick and Shirley Twyman; and a special companion, Alma Miller. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn Loewendick Walpole, who died Sept, 1, 2005. Mrs Margaret Walpole, 56, wife of Marion Walpole, of Adamsville road, died Wednesday evening at Bethesda hospital following a lingering illness. She was born at McConnelsville and moved to Zanesville, 25 years ago. Mrs Walpole was a member of the Market Street Baptist church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son; Pvt Walter Walpole, stationed at Camp Wolters, Texas, a daughter, Mrs Eleanor Snider of Coopermille Manor, and her father, James Savage, of the home. The body has been removed to the Trimmer funeral home, Maple and Adair avenues.

Martin J Walpole (sic), 85, of 1670 Adamsville road, Zanesville's first Kroger store manager, died at 12:35 a.m. Monday (May 31) at Twilight Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born May 5 1880 in Morgan Co., a son of Martin J and Ella Berry Walpole. Mr Walpole was a member of Central Trinity Methodist Church. His wife Margaret died in 1943. Mr Walpole was the manager of the first Kroger Co., store in Zanesville and later was associated with a wholesale hardware firm. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Eleanor Snider of 1670 Adamsville road; a son, Walter Walpole of 925 Marietta street; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A brother preceeded him in death. The body is at Blue Avenue Chaple of Bolin Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Further arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Norman H Weaver, 72, retired coal miner of Roseville who died yesterday at his home from bullet wounds which were said to be self-inflicted will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Cannon & Cannon funeral home at Roseville. Rev. O I Hall, pastor of the Roseville Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Roseville cemetery. Coroner H S Minshull of Perry county said Weaver had shot himself in the abdomen with a shotgun. Ill health was blamed for the act. Weaver had been a resident of Roseville for 38 years. Surviving are his wife Maude Swian Weaver of the home on Franklin avenue, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Skinnin of the home and Mrs. Lula Gilbough of 944 Laurel avenue Zanesville, a son Marion Weaver, of Lancaster, a brother Harry Weaver of 825 Lee street, this city, four great grandchildren. The body is at the funeral home.

Surviving besides the husband are one daughter, Mrs. Dora Hardesty, Coshocton, by a former marriage; three brothers, George, Fred and William Gray, all of Piqua; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Hitchcok, Piqua, Mrs. Otis Hartman, Duncan Falls; five grandchildren and nine great-granchildren. Wymer, 42, who died Saturday morning at the home 934 West Main street, will be hedl at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at First United Presbyterian church, Ridge avenue, with Rev. J.L.Moore, Younstown and Rev. Eugene Liggitt officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn. Mr. Wymer, who was manager of Wymer's restaurant on West Main street for 17 years, had been ill for one year. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks and the Eagles lodge. His entire life was spent in Zanesville. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Wymer; two brothers, Ernest Wymer and Howard Sheets, and a sister, Mrs. A.C. Huffman, all of this city. The body was removed Saturday evening to the Huffman residence, 1549 Ridge avenue from Mader-Peoples funeral home.

ERNEST WYMER
Funeral services for Ernest Earl Wymer, 43, owner and propieter of the Wymer hotel on West Main street, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Trimmer funeral home with Rev L S Shell of the Market Street Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn. Mr Wymer died Thursday at his home, 932 West Main street, following a lingering illness. Surviving are his widow, Margaret; a son, Richard; a sister, Mrs Clair (sic-Clare) Huffman of 1010 Seborn avenue, a niece and two nephews.

DEATH COMES TO MRS WYMER
Funeral services for Mrs. Lenora Brown Wymer will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of Mrs. A. C. Huffman, a sister-in-law, residing at 1549 Ridge avenue. Rev.S. R. Martin of the First M. P. church will conduct the services. Mrs. Brown, wife of Ernest E. Wymer, died at 11:30 Sunday morning in Good Samaritan hospital following a two months' illness of Bright's disease. She had been a patient oat the hospital for three weeks. A native of Williamstown W. Va., she came to Zanesville about 15 years ago and held a position as clerk in the Weber Home store for 10 years prior to her marriage, Jan 31, 1929 to Mr. Wymer. Mrs. Wymer was a member of the Methodist Proestant church in Marietta and attended the First M. P. church during her residence in this city. Surviving are her husband at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brown of Williamstown, W. Va.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Joy, of Marietta; two brothers, Arthur Brown of Oklahoma and William Brown of Morgantown, W. Va., and a host of friends whom she numbered by her acquaintances. The body will be removed from the Trimmer funeral home to the Huffman residence Monday afternoon.

Mrs Retta Wymer Funeral Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs Retta Wymer, 79, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs Clare Huffman of 1110 West Main street, with Rev C M Laing officiating. Burial will be held in Woodlawn. Mrs Wymer died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs Huffman, following a year's illness. She was a native of Morgan county but had lived in this county for the past several years. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian church. Surviving are her husband, Winfield Wymer; a son, Ernest Wymer of Main street; a daughter, Mrs Huffman, at whose home she died; two brothers, James and Arthur Savage, both of this city; two sisters, Mrs Virgie Omen and Mrs Bertha Harmon, both of this city; four grandchildren, Leonard, Harry and Florence Hooper and Roland Wymer; three great grand children and one great great grandchild. The body has been removed to the home of the daughter from the Trimmer funeral home.

ZANESVILLE -- Richard Roland Wymer, 79, of Zanesville, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at his residence in Zanesville. Born Dec. 19, 1923, in Zanesville, the son of Ernest E. Wymer and Margaret Wolfe Wymer-Yerman. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He retired in 1986 from the Ohio Bell & Ameritech Telephone Company following 37 1/2 years of service. He served as a Seaman First Class with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a life member and past post commander of the VFW Post 1058, where he served for many years on the Military Honor Guard detail. He was a life member of the Elks Lodge 114, a life member of the K of C Council 505 and a member of the American Legion Post 29. Surviving are his wife of 57 1/2 years, Carolyn Mae Noll Wymer whom he married Nov. 25, 1946; a son, Rick and daughter-in-law, Char and grandsons Dusty and Ricky Wymer, all of Westerville; a sister, Mary Margaret (Larry) Murphy of Zanesville; sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Joe) Worstall of Zanesville; and several neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Vincent Yerman. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the Hillis Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. with the Christian Vigil Service being held at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father James Csaszar as celebrant. The burial will follow in the Mount Olive Cemetery. The Military Honor Guard will be provided by the VFW Post 1058 at the cemetery following the Mass.
