The album does not identify the children (this is a tintype), but it looks as if Sarah and Hattie are in the back; Elmer, the one son, in front. The girls on their parents' laps are most probably Flavia and Florence, the two youngest girls, with Mary Myrtus in front.
The photograph is not dated, but appears to come from around 1879.
