Robert J. Fay of Waukesha, Obituary
Services will be today for Robert J. Fay, 72, of Waukesha, who died Thursday at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He had served in the U.S. Navy as a pharmacist mate third class and owned Fay Insurance Agency in Waukesha. He graduated from St. Joseph's Grade School in Waukesha, was a graduate of Waukesha High School, where he played on the Blackshirts' 1944 championship basketball team, and attended Marquette University. He was a former member of the Waukesha Noon Lions Club, Council 1825 Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 8, all in Waukesha. Survivors include three sons, Michael (Mary) of Hibbing, Minn., Robert (Georgia) of Two Rivers and Thomas of Waukesha; a daughter, Mary Jo (William) Boone of Bloomington, Ind.; a brother, Paul (Mary) of Waukesha; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be today from 9 a.m. until the services at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Father Michael Newman will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery and Mausoleum, S22-W22890 E. Broadway, Town of Waukesha. The Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, is handling the arrangements.
