Roy F. Fay, 63, company owner
Roy F. Fay, 63, of 294 Potwine Lane died Friday at home.
He worked for Eastern Equipment Co. at the Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee Falls. He also owned his own construction company and the Roy Fay Drywall Installation Service.
Born and schooled in Belchertown, he was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a former member of the Elks and Lions Clubs.
He leaves his wife, the former Cora C. Godin; a brother, Harold of Chicopee, and four sisters, Katherine King and Mabel Ely of Belchertown, Carrie Palady of Colonie, N.Y., and Elsie Zinkham of East Lake, Ohio.
The funeral will be Monday at Douglass Funeral Home, with burial at St. Brigid's Cemetery in Hadley. Calling hours are Monday morning.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hampshire County Hospice, Box 1087, Northampton, 01061, or the St. Brigid's Church restoration fund, in care of the church office on North Pleasant Street, Amherst, 01003.
