James H. Moore Captain Appointed October 3, 1861.  In command of 3rd Alabama Battalion in interim of Lt. Col. Smith leaving and Col. O'Neal arriving (14 days, late February to early March) and re-designation of Regiment.  Retired July 7, 1862 due to chronic bronchitis, re-assigned to Cavalry.
Enoch M. Van Diver Captain Appointed October 3, 1861 as 1st Lt. appointed Captain on July 1, 1862.  Wounded at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863 and detached as conscript officer to Fayette County, Alabama on December 16, 1863.  Still on detached service in the April, 1864 roll taken at Andersonville.  Admitted to Way Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi for wounds February 1, 1865.  Don't know if it's a new wound or if the old one was bothersome.  Paroled on May 26, 1865 in Columbus, Mississippi and resided there after the war.  Applied for pension in Lowndes County, Mississippi in 1916.
Samuel P. Morrow 1st Lt. Appointed 2nd Lt. on October 3, 1861.  Promoted to 1st Lt. on June 1, 1862.  Resigned due to chronic diarrhea on July 18, 1862 and it was accepted on August 8, 1862.  Upon recovery he joined the Cavalry according to survivors accounts.
James A. "Babe" Lindsey 1st Lt. 5 feet 10 1/2 inches tall.  Appointed 2nd Lt. on October 3, 1861.  Promoted to 1st Lt. on August 6, 1862.  Wounded and captured at Gettysburg on July 1, 1863.  Sent to Fort Delaware then Johnson Island Prison Camp, Lake Erie, Ohio on July 20, 1863.  Sent to Point Lookout for exchange on March 21, 1865 and released on June 12, 1865.  Younger brother of Captain William H. Lindsey of Company I.
William A. Hyde 2nd Lt. Enlisted March 3, 1862 as private.  Admitted to Chimbarazo on May 10, 1862 for rheumatism and returned to duty on May 30, 1862.  Promoted to 2nd Lt. on August 20, 1862.  Captured at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863 and exchanged on May 18.  Captured at Gettysburg on July 1, 1863 and sent to Johnson's Island on July 18, 1863 and arrived on July 20.  Sent to Point Lookout on March 14, 1865 for exchange.
William Rufus Durrett 2nd Lt. Enlisted October 3, 1861 and promoted to 2nd Lt. on August 8, 1863.  Wounded at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863 and recovered.  Present at Andersonville.  In command as 2nd Lt. of Company K July, 1864.  Lost arm at Battle of Nashville on December 16, 1864 and captured.  Sent to Fort Delaware from U.S.A. Hospital in Nashville upon recovery on January 25, 1865.  Exchanged on February 27, 1865 and admitted to Howards Grove on March 3, 1865.
James S. Van Diver Sgt. Maj. Born in South Carolina and enlisted September 13, 1861 as private with an occupation as school teacher.  5 feet 10 inches tall.  Promoted to Sgt. Major on April 20, 1862 and discharged due to physical disability on May 5, 1862 at age 25.
William F. Fullerton 1st Sgt. Born in Greenville District, South Carolina.  Enlisted September 5, 1861.  Died in Winder Hospital, Richmond, Virginia on March 1, 1862 at age 27.  Deceased claim filed by his father Robert on March 17, 1863 for both he and his brother Robert, Jr.  Listed as 6 feet, 1 inch tall.
Wm. Berry 1st Sgt. Born in Alabama and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded  in left thigh and buttocks at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863.  Furloughed home to Alabama July 6, 1863 for 60 days.  Present at Andersonville.  Gave deposition is support of service for Thos. A. Welch from Fayette County, Alabama May 3, 1907 at 65 years old.  Brother of Pvt. William Berry.
J. C. D. Reese Sgt. Admitted to Chimbarazo on April 3, 1863.
Wiley S. Enis 3rd Sgt. Wounded at South Mountain on September 14, 1862.  Captured at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863 and exchanged on May 10, 1863.  Promoted to 2nd Sgt.  Listed as absent without leave on April 27, 1864 but was detailed for forage to Columbus, Mississippi in May 1864.  Wounded at Peachtree Creek on July 20, 1864.  He applied for pension in Yell County, Arkansas in 1901.
Samuel Harvey Stewart 3rd Sgt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  5 feet 11 3/4 inches tall.  Promoted from 2nd Corporal.  Present at Andersonville.  Wounded in action around Atlanta.  Captured at Nashville on December 16, 1864 and sent to Camp Chase on January 2, 1865 and arrived there on the 4th.  Signed oath and released on June 12, 1865 to Fayette County at age 28.
Jno. A. Welch 3rd Sgt. Born in Alabama and enlisted December 9, 1861 as private.  Listed as sick in Winchester, Virginia Hospital as 3rd Sgt. on September 9, 1862.  Wounded at Chancellorsville May 3, 1863 with gunshot wound to both thighs and tibia region of left leg.  Admitted to #9 Hospital in Richmond, Virginia and transferred to #23 Hospital on May 13.  Given 60 day furlough on June 12, 1863 to Fayette County.  Received pay in Tuscaloosa on November 23, 1863.  Enlisted in the Cavalry according to survivors accounts.
James H. Hyde 4th Sgt. Born in Greenville District of South Carolina and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded with gunshot wound to leg at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862.  5 feet 11 inches in height.  Discharged to Lowndes County, Mississippi on December 13, 1862 in Columbus, Mississippi at age 19 due to permanent contraction of flexor muscle.  Provided deposition of service for Joe A. Lane in Fayette County on June 3, 1899.
Jonathan Edward Ayres 4th Sgt. Enlisted October 3, 1861 as 1st Corporal.  Wounded at South Mountain on September 14, 1862 and admitted to Camp Winder Hospital on September 27.  No record of him being captured or transferred from another hospital but I'm sure this is the case.  Given 40 day furlough on October 7.  Promoted to 4th Sgt. by July of 1863.  Wounded in right leg and captured at Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863.  Exchanged on July 21, 1863 and admitted to Petersburg, Virginia hospital.  Given 30 day furlough on September 16, 1863.  Captured at Nashville on December 16, 1864 and received at Camp Chase on January 4, 1865.
Geo. W. Lane 5th Sgt. Wounded at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862 and admitted to Hospital #9 in Richmond.  Gunshot wound resulted in amputation of ring finger and also slightly wounded in in-step of left foot.  Transferred to Hospital #22 on October 18, 1862 and eventually returned.  Present at Andersonville as 5th Sgt. 
Joseph J. Nelms 1st Cpl. Born 1842 and enlisted February 17, 1862 as private.  Captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863 and sent to Fort Delaware.  Paroled on June 14, 1865 to Fayette County.  Died 1918 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Robert A. Crowley 1st Cpl. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Admitted to Camp Winder on July 14, 1863 due to illness and medically furloughed for 30 days on July 25, 1863.  Present at Andersonville as Private but surrendered at Greensboro, North Carolina as 1st Cpl. of Company E, 1st Alabama Consolidated Regiment on April 26, 1865.
Simon W. Lane 2nd Cpl. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  As private wounded at Sharpsburg  on September 17, 1862 with ball hitting chest and coming out back.  Returned to duty on December 2, 1862 and was present at Andersonville as 2nd Corporal.
Nathan Wilson Threat, Jr. 3rd Cpl. Enlisted October 3, 1861 as private.  Wounded at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862 and didn't return until May 5, 1863.  Present at Andersonville as 3rd Corporal.  Applied for pension in Monroe County, Mississippi in 1916 and his widow Sarah J. applied in 1918.
Isaac N. Autry Pvt. Enlisted March 3, 1862.  Promoted to Teamster until Regiment was detached to Andersonville where he was present.  Provided deposition of service for James H. Sawyer on May 20, 1899.
Joseph Benjamin Anthony Pvt. Born 1839/40 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia and enlisted February, 1862.  Admitted to #18 Hospital (formally Greener's) on July 7, 1862 in Richmond due to Typhoid and died there on July 18.  Widow Nancy Harrison Anthony applied for pension in Georgia after 1900.
Joel Appling Pvt. Admitted to Chimbarazo due to fever on August 18, 1862 and medically furloughed home on August 30, 1862.  Died of Smallpox in 1863.
J. Newt Baker Pvt. Admitted Chimbarazo Hospital on April 16, 1862 for diarrhea.  Died May 4, 1862.  Buried Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia in Grave #129, row J, Division A.
William G. Baker Pvt. Born December 28, 1839 in Fayette County and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded in both thighs at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862 and given 40 day furlough on November 11, 1862.  Recovered and present at Andersonville but discharged from service in June, 1864 in Virginia.  Resided Bankston, Fayette County, Alabama in 1907. 
John T. Berry Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Medically furloughed for 40 days to recover from scorbutus and anemia on June 12, 1863 and was present at Andersonville.  Brother of 1st Sgt. William Berry.
Francis Marion Black Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded at South Mountain on September 14, 1862.  Captured at Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863 and held Fort Delaware until released on June 14, 1865 and listed his residence as Fayette County, Alabama.  Resided in Hamlin, Jones County, Texas after the war and provided deposition for Thomas A. Welch in April, 1907 at age 68.
John Henderson Brasher Pvt. Born July 11, 1829 in Greenville District, South Carolina.  Discharged from service in April, 1863.  Brother of Henry Brasher.
Henry A. Brasher  Pvt. Born in Alabama and enlisted April 30, 1862.  Was detailed as pioneer from March 1 to December 30, 1863.  Present at Andersonville.  Wounded in Peachtree Creek, Georgia on July 20, 1864 and discharged from service. 
Wm. J. Caraway Pvt. Admitted to Chimbarazo Hospital, Richmond on June 28, 1862 due to typhoid and he died on June 30, 1862.
Thomas J. Carter Pvt. Enlisted April 30, 1862.  Killed in action at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862.  Deceased claim filed by his wife Sarah Carter.  Older brother of Pvt. Calvin and 4th Cpl. Samuel M. Carter of Company C.

Jefferson S. Cobb  Pvt. Born in Gordon County, Georgia in 1844 and enlisted September 15, 1863 as resident of Beaverdale, Alabama.  Wounded in action in late 1863 with gunshot wound to right hand causing amputation of thumb and first finger (trigger).  Descendant Michael Cobb thinks this might be a possible "premature" firing while ramming the load home.  Detailed as nurse to CSA Hospital in Selma, Alabama at age 20.  Filed for pension in Dyer County, Tennessee in 1915 and was living in Weakley County, Tennessee in 1920.
Eli Collins Pvt. Born approximately 1843.  Wounded at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862 and discharged from service on January 10, 1863.  Died still in hospital on February 8, 1863 with deceased claim filed by his widow Irena.
Lewis Cone Pvt. Captured near Jonesboro, Georgia on September 4, 1864.
Wilson  Craig Pvt. In Chimborazo Hospital, Richmond 6 days in April 1862.
George W. Cotton Pvt. Born December 4, 1840 in Tennessee and enlisted March 13, 1862.  Wounded in either Seven Pines or Seven Days.  Admitted to Ladies Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama in early 1863 and still there in November, 1864.  Resided in Holt, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama in 1907 Census.
Benjamin Chilton Dennis Pvt. Born March 17, 1837 in Alabama to parents who came from Ireland.  Died after being hit by a train while walking along the tracks November 10, 1921 in Beaverton, Alabama.  No record of him in the archives.  He is included on the list compiled by survivors of the Company.
Jubal M. "Bud" Dyer Pvt. Enlisted April 30, 1862.  Wounded in action at Malvern Hill and eventually died on July 6.  Buried Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia on July 7, 1862. Deceased claim filed by his wife Euphoemia on the same page as her son's deceased claim on August 26, 1862.
Josiah M. "Elisha" Dyer Pvt. Jubal's son.  Enlisted with his father on April 30, 1862.  Wounded at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862 and according to deceased claim he died on July 13, 1862.  Buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia on July 14, 1862 in Section H, #64.
Albert P. Dobbs Pvt. Born May 23, 1841 in Cherokee County, Georgia and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Transferred to A. P. Hills Division as Teamster for capturing enemy wagon and team.  Furloughed from 2nd Alabama Hospital for 30 days on June 22, 1863 to Fayette County, Alabama to recover from Pneumonia.  Present at Andersonville.  Surrendered at Appomatox? according to the 1907 census and living in Fayette County, Alabama.
John Dobbs Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861  Given 60 day furlough on September 28, 1862 from 2nd Alabama Hospital.  Present at Andersonville.  Father of Albert Dobbs.
William Asbury Dodds Pvt. Born in Georgia.  Transferred from Captain Poes' company of  Cavalry on January 24, 1864.  Present at Andersonville.  Surrendered as member of Company E, 1st Alabama Consolidated Regiment at Greensboro, North Carolina on  April 26, 1865.  Listed in Sanford County Census of 1870 at age 58.
Robert W. Dodds Pvt. Died in Abbingdon, Virginia in 1862 and deceased claim filed on October 22, 1862.

John A. Edmonds Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862.  Recovered and returned.  Captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863.  Received at Fort Delaware on July 6.  Transferred to Point Lookout on October 22, 1863 where he joined U. S. service on January 29, 1864.  He joined Captain Ahle's battery.  Filed for Federal Pension October 17, 1898 in Fayette County, Alabama and later moved to Natural Bridge, Winston County, Alabama.  He died there on July 31, 1918 and was buried at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Natural Bridge.
Alva T. Ellis Pvt. Captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863.  He also joined Captain Ahle's Battery in  U. S. Service from Fort Delaware on July 27, 1863.
Samuel J. Ennis Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Captured at Gettysburg on July 1, 1863 and received on July 6 at Fort Delaware.  Released on June 9, 1865 to his home in Izard County, Arkansas.  He died May 1, 1902 and his widow M. J. Ennis applied for pension in Pope County, Arkansas the same year. 
Charles M. Fortenberry Pvt. Born in Greenville District, South Carolina and enlisted September 5, 1861.  Wounded at South Mountain on September 14, 1862 and eventually died October 5, 1862 at age 23.  Deceased claim filed by his widow Margaret Fortenberry on January 5, 1863.
A. M. Fullerton Pvt.  No other record but buried in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond on June 7, 1862 in Section L, Grave # 53.
Robert R. Fullerton, Sr. Pvt. Honorably discharged due to old age.  Father of both William and of course Rob Jr. and filed deceased claims for them both.

A. J. "Bud" Farquhar Pvt. Born April 25, 1838 and enlisted September 15, 1861.  Admitted April 4, 1862 to hospital for Typhoid and returned to duty April 24.  Patient in Hospital #21 in Richmond, Virginia September 12, 1862 to November, 1862 for unknown illness.  60 day sick leave granted November 9, 1862 at age 24.  Died while at home on that leave on December 23, 1862.  Buried in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette County, Alabama.
James J. Farquhar Pvt. Born October 9, 1844.  No record of him except a tombstone that says he was a member of Company A, 26th Alabama Infantry Regiment.  Buried in the same cemetery as Bud Farquar (Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette County, Alabama).  Date worn on tombstone, died ______ 21, 1864. He either died before April, 1864 or enlisted after April, 1864 and died later in the year. Is it possible for somebody local to try and track down the correct date?  A. J.'s year of death is also weak as it reads 186_.  The date of death is an educated guess for A. J. so if they could check that also I'd appreciate it.  While your at it see if ol' Stephan is there also! 
Stephen A. Farquhar Pvt. Uncle of the two Farquhar boys above.  Wounded at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862.  There is no official record of him though he is listed by survivors so I would have to believe he was discharged due to these wounds.  Thanks to Jeff Farquhar we now know!
Mark Gardner Pvt. Registered at CSA Hospital in Danville, Virginia for Rheumatism and returned to duty July 13, 1862.
Thos. Wm. Gladden Pvt. Born in Alabama about 1841.  Wounded at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862 and died in Hospital #13 in Richmond, Virginia on July 9, 1862.  Survivors of his company never knew what happened to him.  Looks like he was from Pulltight, Fayette County, Alabama..

G. M. Goin Pvt. Died in Richmond, Virginia on June 15, 1862 of unknown causes.
Jas. M. Goin Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862 and returned.  Present at Andersonville then killed in action around Kennesaw Mountain, Georgia on June 24, 1864.
Jas. W. Gurley Pvt. Admitted June 12, 1862 to Chimbarazo Hospital due to Rubeola.  Died June 25, 1862 due to excessive hemorrhaging and buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia on June 26, 1862.
J. C. Gurley Pvt. Missing at South Mountain on September 14, 1862 according to a casualty list.   With no later records of him I assume he was killed in action there.
John L. Harbin Pvt. Discharged from service on January 20, 1863 due to chronic diarrhea and deformed right hand due to injury.  Re-elisted on March 8, 1863 and present at Andersonville.  He was 6 feet tall.  Captured at Peachtree Creek on July 20, 1864.  Sent to Camp Douglas where he applied for oath on October 27, 1864 and released on May 17, 1865.  Listed his residence as Fayette County, Alabama.  Provided deposition of service for S. A. Reed in Walker County, Alabama July 18, 1913.  He was the younger brother of George T. Harbin.
George T. Harbin Pvt. Died in Virginia and buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia in Grave #117,  row I, Division A on April 21, 1862.   Claim filed October 10, 1862 by his father L. Harbin.
Matthew Hampton Pvt. Admitted to CSA Hospital, Danville, Virginia on July 8, 1862 due to Typhoid.  Returned to duty on August 13, 1862.

Pvt. Born in Marion County, Alabama.  Enlisted on March 20, 1862.  Discharged on July 7, 1862 due to chronic bronchitis and diarrhea at age 20.  Died at home on September 20, 1862 of consumption.
Wilmington M. Hill Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded at South Mountain on September 14, 1862 and recovered.  Present at Andersonville.  Applied for pension in Coahoma County, Mississippi in 1908.
Mathew Howton Pvt. Born in Greenville District of South Carolina in 1838 and enlisted May 8, 1862.  Wounded with gunshot wound at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862 and admitted to CSA Hospital in Danville, Virginia on July 2, 1862. Transferred to Chimbarazo on July 28, then admitted to 2nd Alabama Hospital on August 8 and returned to duty on October 18, 1862.  Present at Andersonville.  Gave deposition of service for Levi Marshall's (Co. I) widow Lucinda on May 26, 1899.  Buried in Fairmount Baptist Cemetery in Red Level, Covington County, Alabama.
David Howton Pvt. Born March 5, 1829 and enlisted on October 3, 1861.  Present at Andersonville.  Captured at Nashville on December 15, 1864 and sent to Camp Douglas from Military Prison in Louisville, Kentucky on December 20, 1864 and released on June 19, 1865 to Fayette County, Alabama.  Moved to Texas in 1867.  Died in Sutton County, Texas on February 17, 1917.  His wife Priscilla applied for pension there in in 1929.  She states that they were married January 19, 1854 in Fayette County, Alabama.  She died April 17, 1932.  Two daughters are listed, Mrs.' W. H. Perry and Martha S. Davis.
George Washington Howton  Pvt. Born April 16, 1824 in Fayette County, Alabama.  Died in Yorktown, Virginia according to survivors account.  But he apparently survived and joined the 56th Alabama.  Took oath August 9, 1865 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.  Died January 16, 1902 and buried in Rocky Mounty Cemetery near Covin, Fayette County, Alabama. The Howton boys were all brothers. 
Willis Howton  Pvt. Born September 10, 1827 in Fayette County, Alabama.  Not on National archive list but provided on list by survivors.  Died in 1893 in Brown County, Texas.
Elijah "Lige"Howton Pvt. Born January 29, 1832 in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted on May 5, 1862 and present at Andersonville.  Died in Corzell County, Texas.
Charles M. Hyde Pvt. Died of Typhoid on August 8, 1862 in General Hospital in Farmsville, Virginia.  Deceased claim filed by his widow Irene Hyde.
Samuel Jones Pvt. Captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863 and sent to Fort Delaware Prison the week of July 7-12, 1863.   He died of influx of the lungs on December 23, 1863.  Buried in Finns Point Cemetery, New Jersey.
Wm. L. Johnson Pvt. Born in Fayette County, Alabama.  Died May 7, 1862 in General Hospital #20 of typhoid fever at age 20.  Deceased claim filed by his father Starling Johnson from Beaverdale, Alabama.
John F. Kelley Pvt. Born April 6, 1840 in Franklin County, Alabama and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Admitted to Chimbarazo on April 16, 1862 to convalesce and returned to duty on April 23.  Admitted to Winder Hospital due to cough on May 7, 1862 and returned to duty on May 19.  Present at Andersonville.  Lost leg at Battle of Peachtree Creek, Georgia on July 20, 1864 and was still in Hill Hospital in Cuthbert, Georgia in December, 1864.  He applied for pension in Howard County, Arkansas in 1892.  Resident of Winfield, Fayette County, Alabama in 1907 Census.  Died June 14, 1918 and buried in Alabama Confederate Cemetery, Chilton County, Alabama.  Placed in Cemetery #2, Row 5, Grave # 46 next to his wife Mary J. Kelley.  Brother of Albert Daniel Kelly.
Albert "Daniel" Kelley Pvt. Born in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted October 3, 1861.  6 feet in height.  Reported Missing at South Mountain on September 14, 1862 but was wounded and captured.  Died in Hospital in Frederick, Maryland on October 9, 1862 at age 21.  Buried Mt. Olivet Grave # 87.  Deceased claim filed by his father Ferguson Kelly on March 26, 1864. 
W. W. Kelley Pvt. Died of unknown causes and buried in Hollywood Cemetery on August 1, 1862 in Section H, Grave # 220.  Deceased claim filed on April 16, 1863.
John W. Lane Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862 and returned.  Present at Andersonville.  Then killed in action at Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863.  Deceased claim filed October 14, 1863 by his mother Syrena Lane.
Joe A. Lane Pvt. Born December 25, 1840 in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded at Seven Pines May 31, 1862.  Present at Andersonville.  Wounded in action by bomb shell around Kennesaw Mountain and sent to Ocmulgee Hospital in Macon, Georgia.  Returned and wounded again with gunshot wound to right hand and shell wound to right foot at Ezra Church on July 28, 1864.  Paroled at Fayette June 1865.  Filed for relief as maimed on January 16, 1892.  Applied for pension in Fayette County and died there on February 16, 1916.

Stephen A. McGinnis Pvt. Wounded and captured at South Mountain on September 14, 1862.  Sent to Fort Delaware.  Sent to Aikens Landing, Virginia on October 2, 1862 for exchange and exchanged on November 10.  Wounded with gunshot wound to back on October 14, 1863 while posted as skirmisher at the Battle of Bristoe Station. Admitted to Hospital #9 in Richmond on the 19th and then transferred to Howards Grove on the 20th.  Given 40 day leave on November 16, 1863.  Listed as Sgt. and absent without leave on April 27, 1864.  Paroled in Columbus, Mississippi on May 26, 1865. 
Carson H. Moore Pvt. Born in Alabama.  Admitted to Hospital in Petersburg Hospital on April 12, 1862 and returned to duty on April 24.  Wounded at South Mountain on September 14, 1862 and eventually died of his wounds according to survivors accounts.
Jeff M. Melton Pvt. Admitted to Farmsville, Virginia Hospital on July 11, 1862 due to typhoid and died there on July 24, 1862. 
Wm. Murray Norman Pvt. Born in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded and captured at South Mountain on September 14, 1862 and sent to Fort Delaware. Sent to Aikens Landing, Virginia on October 2, 1862 and exchanged on November 10.  Died in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on March 22, 1864 at age 21.  Deceased claim filed July 29, 1864 by his father Isaac.
Wm. F. Nelson Pvt. Detailed as guard for Quarter Master, died in Virginia. Buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Grave # 17, row K, Division B on June 13, 1862.
Lewis J. Olive Pvt. Born about 1840 in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted September 5, 1861.  Brothers William Thomas and James Hilliard Olive served in Company H, 41st Alabama Infantry.  Admitted Chimbarazo August 19, 1862 due to Typhoid and died on August 29, 1862 at age 20.  Deceased claim filed by father Richard Calvin Jones Olive on October 5, 1863.
Wm. R. Owings Pvt. Born Anderson District, South Carolina and enlisted August 3, 1861. Wounded at Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863 and admitted to 1st Alabama and then given 30 day furlough out of Hospital #9 on January 9, 1864.  Listed as absent without leave on April 27, 1864. Might have possibly became a Cpl. of the 4th Alabama Cavalry by the end of the war as either he or his widow applied for pension in Oklahoma in the early 1900's.
Jno. Palmer Pvt. On list compiled by survivors of Company.  Originally enlisted with Company A then transferred to Company F.
Alfred Peters Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded in arm at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862.  Detached to invalid corps and retired from his station in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on August 29, 1864.  Paroled in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on May 18, 1865.
Jno. T. Pickle Pvt. Born September 1, 1841 in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted October 13, 1861.  Admitted to Lynchburg, Virginia Hospital for measles on August 1, 1862.  Sent home by his Captain unable to serve.  Signed oath on May 11, 1864 and sent to Fayette County.  5 feet 11 inches tall.  Resident of Bankston, Fayette County, Alabama in 1921 Census.
Joseph A. Pryor Pvt. Enlisted October 3, 1861.  Shot in arm at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862 and permanently discharged.  Settled in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama after the war.
J. H. Perkins Pvt. Died of unknown causes, deceased claim filed.  Buried Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia on November 22, 1862  in Section S, #330.
Alexander Ray  Pvt. Born in South Carolina and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Sick in Richmond June 25, 1862.  Captured at Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863 and sent to Fort Delaware Prison where he died on October 14, 1863.  Buried in the Finn's Point Cemetery, Jersey Shore.

John M. Reid Pvt. Wounded with gunshot wound to leg and captured at Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862.  Eventually admitted January 31, 1863 to the U. S. A. General Hospital on Calvert Street, Baltimore, Maryland.  Paroled and then admitted to Petersburg General Hospital.  Given 40 day furlough on March 2, 1863.  Can't find record of it but I'm going to figure he was discharged.  At this time if it took this long to be exchanged, it was a very serious wound.  He was not at Andersonville.

Born April 22, 1839 in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted August 15, 1861.  5 feet 10 inches tall.  Wounded in left arm at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862 which required loss of his arm by amputation and then discharged on August 12, 1862 at age 22.  Applied for relief as maimed on March 17, 1885.
Joseph Henry Stewart Pvt. Born October 8, 1846 in Randolph County, Alabama and enlisted August 7, 1863.  Wounded in Battle of Peachtree Creek on July 20, 1864.  Paroled in Talledega, Alabama on May 17, 1865.  He died July 31, 1900 and his widow M. J. Stewart applied for pension in 1901 in Pope County, Arkansas.
James H. Sawyer Pvt. Enlisted April 30, 1862.  Wounded in left arm at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862.  Furloughed home on November 11, 1863 out of the Danville, Virginia Hospital.  Present at Andersonville.  Wounded in head at New Hope Church on June 1, 1864 and paroled on May 22, 1865 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  Applied for pension in Ashville, St. Clair County, Alabama on March 24, 1897 and resident of Odinville, Alabama in 1921.
J. T. Smith Pvt. Admitted to the C. S. A. Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on November 21, 1862 for hernia and transferred to Lynchburg.  Eventually discharged.
W. H. Stubblefield Pvt. Admitted to Farmsville, Virginia Hospital on June 6, 1862 and returned to duty on June 29.
Nathan Wilson Threat, Sr. Pvt. Admitted to Chimbarazo on May 1, 1862 due to emphysema and died there on May 2, 1862.  Buried Oakwood Cemetery on the same day.
Ben L. Townsend Pvt. Died in Richmond, Virginia.  Buried in Hollywood Cemetery on September 6, 1862 in Section A, Grave #54. Deceased claim filed May 7, 1864 by James Townsend.
James Townsend Pvt. Captured at South Mountain on September 14, 1862.  Paroled and sent to Aiken's Landing, Virginia for exchange on October 6, 1862 and declared exchanged on October 10.  Captured at Gettysburg on July 3, 1863 and sent to Fort Delaware July of 1863.  Sent to Chester Hospital for scorbutus.  From there he was sent to City Point, Virginia for exchange in September, 1863.  Wounded in action at New Hope Church on June 1, 1864 with gunshot wound through the upper left arm fracturing ulna.  Furloughed out of St. Mary's Hospital in LaGrange, Georgia on June 7, 1864.  Paroled on May 26, 1865 in Columbus, Mississippi.  He applied for pension in Crawford County, Arkansas in 1895.

Abraham Vick Pvt. Died of measles in Tuscumbia, Alabama in December, 1861.  Deceased claim filed by Jemima Vick April 24, 1863.
Samuel H. Walters Pvt. Killed in action at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863.  General order #131/3 dated October 3, 1863 for Medal of Honor from that Battle.  Deceased claim filed October 31, 1864 by his widow Cloe Ann Walters.
Thos. A. Welch Pvt. Enlisted September 18, 1861.  Wounded in hand, hip and thigh at Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862.  Everyone thought he was going to die so he drew his wounds in a bible and sent it home.  Family has been unable to find this bible.  He did survive and was furloughed home on January 1, 1863. Upon return he was detached to Camp Winder Hospital as guard (never discharged).  Relieved from field duty on November 18, 1863.  Later sent to guard Danville Railroad Bridges and received pay as such in Richmond on June 17, 1864.  After war moved to Dublin, Texas and filed for pension in Erath County, Texas in April, 1907 at age 73.  At that time disabilities were stiff left leg and deformed right arm.
John W. Wheeler Pvt. Enlisted September 18, 1862.  Wounded by gunshot in both legs below the knees at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863.  Admitted to Camp Winder Hospital and given 40 day furlough on October 7, 1863.  He never went back due to loss of bone in the right leg.  Applied for relief as maimed from Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.  Resident of Iuka, Tishomingo County, Mississippi when he applied for pension September 4, 1900 at age 57.  Buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Millport, Alabama.
John A. Wiley Pvt. Born in Elbert County, Georgia and enlisted October 3, 1861.  5 feet 11 inches tall.  Admitted to Chimbarazo on August 21, 1862 due to bronchitis and transferred to Scottsville, Virginia Hospital on September 29, 1862.  Patient in Selma, Alabama Hospital in the summer of 1863 and paid in Montgomery, Alabama on September 23, 1863.  Discharged January 14, 1864 in Montgomery, Alabama at age 19 due to disease of the heart.
J. P. Wood Pvt. Listed paid for services in Hospital August 10, 1862 to October 31, 1862 in Enterprise, Mississippi.  It's very possible he is a member of the 26/50th.
Chris C. Wright Pvt. Enlisted January 6, 1861.  Wounded at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863.  Present at Andersonville.  Admitted into St. Mary's Hospital in LaGrange, Georgia on June 7, 1864 for dysentery and returned to duty in July.  Killed in action at the Battle of Franklin, Tennessee on November 30, 1864 at age 21.  Buried in unknown grave.

D. Newton Yerby Pvt. Captured at South Mountain on September 14, 1862 and sent to Fort Delaware.  Sent to Aikens Landing, Virginia for exchange on October 2, 1862 and exchanged on November 10.  Killed at Gettysburg and deceased claim filed on October 20, 1863.  Youngest brother of Isaac S. and James C. Yerby.
Isaac S. Yerby Pvt. Born March 10, 1838 in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted October 3, 1861.  5 feet 10 inches tall.  Attached to African Church Hospital as nurse on September 20, 1862.  Wounded at Gettysburg July 1-3, 1863.  Given a 30 day furlough on January 6, 1864 and present at Andersonville.  Oldest brother of James C. and D. Newton Yerby.
James C. Yerby Pvt. Born May 18, 1839 in Fayette County, Alabama and enlisted October 3, 1861.  Wounded at Gettysburg on July 1-3, 1863 and recovered.  Present at Andersonville April, 1864.  Captured at Nashville, Tennessee on December 16, 1864 and received at Camp Chase on January 6, 1865.  Paroled on June 12, 1865 at age 25 and listed residence as Fayette County.  Later filed for pension in Lamar County, Alabama but listed as resident of Fayette County in 1907 Census.
