After my discharge from the Marine Corps I
started to work for the old Penna Railroad as a junior
auditor. Over the years I was very fortunate to
proceed up the ranks. After several railroad mergers
I ended up With Conrail as Director of Special
investigations. At Conrail we specialized in
investigating white-collar crime in 15 states and Canada
I retired in 1989 from Conrail and we then moved to
Florida. Currently I am the President of our Condo Association
and Chairman of our Crime watch organization. I am
also on the Board for the Upper Pinellas Association
for Retarded Citizens (UPARC).

Our daughter Debbie
was handicapped and we lost her several years ago. Two years ago I had a total knee replacement and
this has given me the opportunity to do A lot more
physical things such as golf, swimming, bike riding etc. Incidentally if you or any of our classmates would
be visiting Florida please give me a call and we
will get together for lunch. We are located very near
Clearwater.I am only aware of two of our classmates who
have died; Will Dempsey and Tom McKearney.
If possible it would be nice to have an up to date
list of classmates that are no longer with us. If I can be helpful in any manner let me
know.
Kind Regards,
Gerry Welsh
