    He married Mary Miller on the 16th September 1799 in Portesham, Dorset, England. The banns were read, on the
    25th August, 1st September and 8th September. She was born and died, dates unknown.

James 2.

James Reader was born 1796 in Portasham, Dorset, England and died 31 July 1876 in Chickerall. He married Jane Groves, daughter of Reuben Groves and Jane Fudge, on the 20th August 1821 in Broadway. She was born about 10 October 1796 in Radipole, and died 8 November 1871 in Chickerall.

Richard.

Richard Fudge Groves Reader was born 1825 in Upwey, Dorset, England and died 29 July 1899. He married Ann Orchard, daughter of John Orchard and Jane Frampton, on the 6th June 1847 in Chickerell, Dorset, England. She was born 1825 and baptised on the 20th February 1825, in West Knighton and died 24 April 1854 in Chickerell, Dorset.
Richard then married Ann Randall on the 18th June 1854 in Chickerell.

i. Mary Jane Reader, born 5 October 1847, Southwell, Portland and died, date unknown; She married Simon Findley, son of James Findley and Eliza Rogers, nee, Hatton, on the 9th March 1867, Melcombe Regis, Weymouth. He was born on the 12th April 1846, Weymouth and died, date unknown.
