Thomas A. Walling Bureau

This note was on the back of the picture below, which came from Dorothy Nobles: "Old bureau was the property of my father Thomas A. Walling who was born in 1793 and died 1863. This bureau has been the property of the Walling family for 150 years. And is highly prized for its antiquity. - Asenath Walling W. King". Assuming this was written sometime in the early 1900's, that means it must have been in the Walling family since about the time of the Revolution. That's about a century after the 1675 date when the Wallings are said to have come to America.
