Marshall Mystery Pix

Marshall Mystery Pix

Here are some Marshall mystery pix. They look like they have some of the same people in them. They came from both the Marshall and Sawdey sides of the family, and since Robert W. Marshall Jr. is the common ancestor they must be Marshalls. They do not show the children of Robert W. Marshall Jr., so it's probably the generation before that. Here's a chart of that family:

    544 |ROBERT W. (Sr.) MARSHALL (1804-1875)
    545 |+MARTHA JOHNSTON (1806-1894)
    534 | |JAMES C. MARSHALL (1828-1915)
    538 | |MARIA J. MARSHALL (1830- )
    539 | |ELIZABETH MARSHALL (1832-1894)
    540 | |MARGARET MARSHALL (1835- )
    041 | |ROBERT W. (Jr.) MARSHALL (1838-1899)
    541 | |GEORGE N. MARSHALL (1840-1926)
    542 | |THOMAS O. MARSHALL (1847-1902)

If anyone can identify any of them or has any other pictures like this, please
contact me.

This first one came from Esther Sawdey Lennertz. Since the one on the left is writing something, he may be Thomas O. Marshall the newspaperman. He does bear a resemblance to some pictures of William Eugene Marshall. The one in the middle looks oldest so he may be James C. Marshall.

The next three came from Barbara Brookes-Harris of the Cora Marshall Greenman line. The first contains maybe James C. Marshall on the left, Thomas O. Marshall in the middle, and Robert W. Marshall Jr. on the right. Thomas O. Marshall was in fact the youngest of that generation.

Possibly Thomas O. Marshall on the left, Robert W. Marshall Jr. on the right, and George N. Marshall in the middle:

Possibly Thomas O. Marshall standing:
