Church met and after a sermon by Bro HILL proceeded to business. 1st Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. 2nd Letters were granted to Bro Waters CARPENTER & wife. Adjourned.

Coffee Creek Church met and after a discourse by Bro A. Hill the church proceeded to business. 1st Minutes of last meeting read and approved. 2nd Church called Bro. Allen Hill as her pastor for the ensuing year. Adjourned.

Church met at the ususal hour after praise by the pastor proceed to business 1st min of last meeting approved. 2nd Bro John TOBIAS was called to act a deacon and also a motion to two others be elected at our next regular meeting. 3rd Motion that all members that has not answered the clerk be dropped from the church book. 4th Bro WARREN was chosen as sexton.

1st church met at two p.m. Opening services were conducted by Bro. A. HILL. 2nd Minutes of last meeting read and approved. 3rd motion that the church now proceed to the election of two deacons. Motion carried. 4th Motion that the church elect by ballot. Carried. 5th The election resulted in the selection of Bros. Wm. J. GRAHAM and O. F. PHILLIPS. 6th The church orders the clk to bring forward the names of those members that had not answered to his letters. 7th Motion that the ordination of our pastor, U. M. McGUIRE and Wm. J. GRAHAM and O. T. PHILLIPS the new elected deacons be conferred on Sabbath Sept 4 1881

The committee appointed to visit Bros. Dexter DEPUTY and Mack RAY reported and asked for more time. The church granted the request until next meeting. 3rd ordered the calling of a pastor be a specialty of our next meeting.

Letters were granted to Henry LAWRENCE, E. LOWERY, M... W.., Mary TATE, E. ARBUCKLE and wife, Ellason Arbuckle and wife and Wm W. GRAHAM. Order that T. TOBIAS take Bro Wm. GRAHAM subscription paper.

June 1 Sat 1882
Church met at the usual hour. Services by pastor. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. 1st order on motion the case of Bro David MONTGOMERY was continued. 2nd on motion Mr. James M.. was elected head ... Of church On motion Bros W.W. DIXON & M.C. TIBBETS were appointed by the church to visit Bro. John CHAMBERS of Lancaster.

2nd order that Dexter DEPUTY be excluded. 2nd order that Bro E. M. RAY be restored and given a letter. Granted. 4th order that Bro A. HILL, wife, and Bill HILL and James HILL be given letters. Granted. 5th order that A. HOARD be given a letter. 6th that the church call U. M. McGUIRE to serve another year. Bro. W. W. DIXON and T. Dec 1st Sat 1882
Church met at the usual hour. After service by the pastor minutes of last meeting read and approved. 1st order was the case of Brethren McGuire & Montgomery. 2nd Order that McGuire and Montgomery state the reason they cannot be friendly. Montgomery first charged was that McGuire kept Mr. Lemual Matthews over night without telling him his business. 2nd that McGuire told in court that he was assailed in the church for lying. He also testified in court that my word was not good. 3rd that McGuire has written secret letters to a certain individual 4th that McGuire refused to fix his half of fence as agreed upon. McGuire charges 1st that Montgomery charges him with harboring a thief. 2nd for telling an untruth. 3rd for cursing me and the McGuire family. 4th that I was the meanest man in the neighborhood 5th for abusing me at the molasses factory 6th for interfering with me while singing at home. After hearing the charges the church asked the brethren for an acknowledgment which resulted as follows: Montgomery called first. The charges were called for in regular order:

After some discussion there was a motion to set all the charges aside. Motion carried. The committee reported which was received and the com. Discharge motion to hear an expression of the church whether Bro Montgomery ought to accept the acknowledgement of McGuire. Motion carried. Motion that Bro Montgomery be restored.

1st order the pastor presented and read resolutions relative to the death of Bro. James McGANNON and requested they should be recorded in the church book and a copy of the same handed to Sister McGANNON.
Resolved, that in the death of Brother James McGANNON we deplore the loss of a loved brother and valuable member of our church and we heartily express our sorrow in sympathy with his affected family. May our losses at the close of life be no less bright than his when expressed and may his continued zeal for the welfare of the church impress us.
2nd order the church instructice the cause to act on the Advolorum sustain in raising money for the church and order that a committee of 3 bros and 3 sisters be appointed to take voluntary subscriptions for pastor services. Collect the same.
