Margaret Ruby Harbison, 85, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005 in the Madera Rehab and Convalescent Hospltal. Mrs. Harbison was born on Nov. 4, 1920, in Tennessee and was a long-time Chowchilla resident. She worked as a cook at the Chowchilla District Hospital. She had lived in the Madera County area for 56 years.
She was a member of the Chowchilla Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and gardening. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Ron Harbison of Madera, Don Brindley of Pulaski, Tennessee; one sister, Ama Jean Rogers of Tennessee; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at the Chowchilla District Cemetery on Thursday Jan. 5, 2006, at 2 pm
Mr. Jim McColloch of the Church of Christ will officiate.
Palm Memorial Worden Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
HARBISON, MARGARET BURY (RUBY) — Graveside services for Margaret Bury Harbison, 85, of Madera will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chowchilla District Cemetery. Mrs. Harbison, a hospital cook, died Friday. Arrangements are by Palm Memorial Worden Chapel in Chowchilla.
