PHYLLIS RODUNER WEDS IN MIAMI
This week Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Roduner announced that their eldest daughter, Phyllis, became Mrs. Luke Warren Fishburn in rites solemnized in Miami, Fla., where the young navy officer is presently stationed.
Their wedding date was Friday, July 13, and was al-white I accordance with plain quickly made by Phyllis before she boarded the east bound plane last week.
The bride is a member of two of the county's pioneer families, as her maternal grandfather was D. K. Stoddard, and her paternal grandparents, J. A. Roduner, were early settlers here.
Graduated from the local high school, she later received her degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, where the couple met. Chi Omego was her sorority, of which she served as president during her senior year.
Lt. (jg) Fishburn was commissioned in the navy in 1943, upon his graduation from UCLA, and since that time has served in Panama and the southwest Pacific.
The just-weds have tentative plans for west coast orders sometime in August. Meanwhile they spent a brief honeymoon in the Miami area.
