Friday morning, March 10th, the Angel of Death brought sorrow to many hearts when he bore to the land of gladness, far from earth's sorrow and tears, Norman L., the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. James CANOVA of Coulterville. No stranger to these afflicted parents was that grim visitor; twice before had he visited their home and unheeding their pleading cries, bore from mortal sight a floweret of earth to blossom in the garden of God. For this reason the news of the death of little
Norman caused profound regret in the community and the deepest sympathy is felt for the parents and little brother who survive him. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the home of the parents on Main Street. Rev. Father KEARNEY conducted the services which was beautiful in simplicity. A large number were present and followed the remains to the cemetery where internment was made in the family plot.65
