Sister Anna B. Crandall was born in the year 1791, in the state of Connecticut, emigrated to the state of New York with her father, and was married in the year 1812 to Gardner Crandall. She professed faith in Christ in her 19th year, was baptized, and joined the Christian order. She then removed with her husband to the state of Ohio. In the year 1829 her husband died leaving her with six children. In the year 1850 she attached herself to the United Brethren in Christ with some of her children. And in the year 1852 she removed with John B. Crandall and Rev. Washington Crandall to the state of Illinois, Dewit (DeWitt) County and on February 11, 1853 she departed this life.
She has left the church below, we hope, to join the church above. Funeral discourse by the writer to a large and attentive congregation from Rev. 14 part 13th verse.
