Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Thursday, March 28, 1968 at 11 a.m. in the Mission Chapel of Ivers and Alcorn. Rev. Charles Hoffmeister of the Central Presbyterian Church will officiate. Internment in the Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Weaver, Dean Colony Pioneer, Is Dead
Death claimed another Merced pioneer Sunday when Mrs. Annie Catherine Weaver, 85, died in her home at 27 E. 22nd St. She had lived here and in the Dean Colony 74 years.
Funeral services will be held in Mission Chapel at Ivers and Alcorn Funeral Home Tuesday, October 27, 1964 at 11 a.m. . Rev. Vernon Robertson of the Central Presbyterian Church will officiate. Internment in the Merced District Cemetery.
Mrs. Weaver came to Merced from Kansas with her parents, the late Dr. and Mrs. Perry Crandall, in 1890 and settled in the Dean Colony where they operated a farm. Her father gave up his medical practice after coming here.
In 1903 she married Robert S. Weaver, a well known farmer in the Dean Colony. They farmed there for a period of time and later moved to Bear Creek Drive where they lived 49 years. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in February.
Mrs. Weaver had been active in the Bear Creek Grange and had attained the highest degree offered by the order.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marian Weaver of San Jose, a granddaughter, and four great-grandchildren.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Weaver were active in the Merced Old Timers Association.
