HARBISON, REV. JAMES SIMEON age 88, of Logan, died June 29, 1997. Funeral services will be July 1, 4:00 p.m., at Moss-Terry Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Cullman City Cemetery. Rev. Harbison was a bivocational minister. He was born in Booth, Arkansas on April 18, 1909 to Columbus Simeon and Mollie Doss Harbison. Living most of his life in Cullman County. During his ministry, he served thirteen Baptist Churches, all in Cullman County with the exception of one in Walker County. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hudson Harbison, a retired teacher and granddaughter of Bonnie Claire Calvert. Survivors: sons, Robert L. Harbison of Logan and James Nelson Harbison of Houston, Tex.; daughters, Kenneith Calvert of Jacksonville and Barbara Dean Murphree of Crane Hill; sons-in-law, Gaston E. Calvert and Hoyt L. Murphree; daughter-in-law, Jean Harbison; sister, Ella Jackson, Winter Haven, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the Bonnie Calvert Scholarship Fund, Development Office, Campbell University, Buies Creek, N.C. 27506. Moss-Terry Funeral Home presiding.
