FREDERICK AUGUSTUS 9 CHADBOURNE (323. Joseph Roberts 8 Levi 7 James 6 John 5 James 4-3 Humphrey 2 William 1), born Suisun Valley, Solano Co, CA, 8 Sep 1858; died Suisun 25 Dec 1925 (state file #59153); married 26 Apr 1883 ANNA CATHERINE BUHRMEISTER, born CA 6 Nov 1862, died Suisun 28 Jan 1935, daughter of Harry G and Catherine (Mangels) Buhrmeister. Like his father and brothers, Fred farmed in the Suisun Valley with fruit orchards all of his life. Adding to his land, he left many acres of orchards to his three surviving children. Some of these orchards are still under cultivation at this date. He built a large Victorian house on his property, which was a local landmark until it was torn down in the 1940s. Both are buried at the Fairfield Cemetery, Fairfield CA. (Records of Elaine Bacon, CFAA)15
