Robert Weaver and Martha Weaver, students of the University of California visited their parents Mr. and Mrs. C.S. Weaver here during the Thanksgiving holidays. Mrs. John Hedberg of Lindsay, Mrs. Weaver's sister, and her children, Mrs. Ann McDonald, Helen, Mildred and Doris Hedberg also visited the Weavers.

Former County Superintendent: 'CHRIS' WEAVER, Veteran Merced Educator Is Dead.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning in Santa Cruz for CHRISTIAN S. "CHRIS" WEAVER, 83, of Mount Herman, former Merced County Superintendent of Schools. He leaves his wife, ANNA PEDEN WEAVER of LaJolla; three daughters, Miss LOUISE WEAVER of San Francisco, MARTHA LAFEVRE of San Diego and Miss DORIS WEAVER of London. He also leaves two brothers, ROBERT and ALVIN of Merced and two sisters, Mrs. MOLLIE LANDER of Modesto and Miss MARGARET WEAVER of Merced.
