Notes for ZILPHA BABB: From Theron Smith's notes:

Zilpha probably the daughter of James Babb, who was listed in the 1818 Maury Co., TN tax list, and 1820 Maury Co. census

Matthew & Zilpha were also in Alabama in the early 1820s, and Matthew was administrator
of his father, Samuel's, will in Morgan Co., AL, in 1821, and Matthew & Zilpha's two oldest children were born in Alabama 1821-24.

>From an 1879 obit. in the Gospel Advocate: Zilpha Harbison died in Sharp County, Arkansas on Feb. 2, 1879. She was the widow of Mathew Harbison. She was born in SC about 1798, and was the daughter of James Ball, who had brought her to Tennessee as a child. Mathew and Zilpha Harbison had two sons living in Texas in 1879 (one of whom was a minister) and two daughters who were living in Arkansas, one of them apparently married to J. R. Smith of Sharp Co.
