Services were held in the Ivers and ALcorn Chapel in Merced for Garl Leland Eubank, 72, the past Wednesday. A native of Indiana, He was a former laundry and dry cleaning business owner.
Among the survivors is a son, Garl Eubank, of Cathey's Valley.

Elsie Leatrice Visher was born March 26, 1911 in Richmond, California and passed away July 15, 2003 in Catheys Valley, California. She was 92. Mrs. Visher was a Rancher for 80 years, and was from an old pioneer family in the Mariposa area. She enjoyed her animals and gardening. She was a past member of the Merced-Mariposa Cowbells Association, The Catheys Valley Garden Club, and was a 4-H Leader.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Visher in 1999, one brother, and four sisters.
She is survived by sons; Garl Eubank and Jim Hopman of Catheys Valley, daughters; Nancy Forehand of Ozona, Texas, Patricia Pirtle and Mary Ann Visher of Catheys Valley, sisters; Margaret Nutley of Hornitos, and Betty Safford of Lovelock, Nevada, eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday July 20, 2003 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Chapel in Merced. Graveside services will be held Monday July 21, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Lord Speaker Family Cemetery in Hornitos, California. Jack Quinn will officiate.
Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association 1495 W. Shaw Fresno, Ca 93711. Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Chapel of Merced.

Elsie Leatrice Visher, from an old pioneer family in the Mariposa area, passed away July 15, in Catheys Valley. She was 92.
