All BRUSCHIs have been reported to come from the village of Bruschi, near Val di Taro in the province of Parma. It grew to two villages, Bruschi Sottani and Bruschi Soprani. Some moved to Borgo Val di Taro. Louis (?) Bruschi was reputed to be a cattle merchant who took prize cattle to such places as France, Germany and Poland. (Written by Paula Seagle)98
