OBITUARY: Joseph D. Castro
Joe D. Castro died Friday June 14, 1991, of a heart attack at his home in Queretaro, MX.
Services and burial were held in Queretaro.
He was born April 5, 1914 in Redding to the late Joseph and May Castro.
He graduated from Shasta Union High School then went to Mexico City to attend the University of Mexico. There he met his wife Anita Beckwith and made his home in Mexico. He was in business in Mexico City for may years until his retirement to Queretaro, MX.
He leaves his beloved wife Anita; sons James and John Castro; daughters Betty Flores & Candy Castro all of Queretaro; daughter Marian Langdon of Atlanta, GA. He was also the father of the late Christina Castro.
He leaves 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also 3 sisters Betty Harp of Gridley, CA; May Anthony & Dorothy Carmona of Redding; numerous nieces and nephews.85
