Soon after their marriage,they settled on a farm in Scituate, RI, where they are of record in 1752. Soon following this years, they sold out and removed to a farm in Johnston, RI, which farm they sold in 1773. In 1795, in Cranston, RI, he made a deed in which he mentioned his son Reuben. At this time, he was seventy-three years old, and went to live with their son Amos, then in Killingly, where he and Mary are buried. (Stukely Westcott, Vol. 2, Pg. 308, 1939)
