Eleazer was one of the early physicians of Sanford (Clayton, York County, 375). He was a selectman of Sanford for 14 years and deacon of the Sanford Baptist Church. At his death, he was survived by 4 children, 18 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren (Thompson Papers, York Co). CFA member Arlene Verity helped supply information on Eleazer's family.
