Bertha and Reginald went as missionaries to the West Indies where Reginald died and is buried. Bertha returned to Hastings where she remained until her death in 1962. She is buried at St Pauls, in Roslin.
MRS. BERTHA BULSTEAL (Obit)
Funeral of Mrs. Bertha Bulsteal, widow of the late Rev. Reginald Bulsteal, a retired Anglican minister, was held on Aug. 20 at St. Mary Magdalene's Anglican Church here with interment at Roslin. Rev. W. L. Simmons offciated and pall, bearers were. R. E. Dale, B. Cowling, H. I. Knuth, R. Bowen, E. Rose and M. Thompson.
Mrs. Bulsteal died at Kingston General Hospital Aug. 17 at the age of 81. She had been in i11 health for several years and lived in Napanee. Born at Roslin, she had lived in Bermuda at one time. When able she had been active in the Women's Auxillary of her church.
The former Bertha Fitchett, daughter of the late Alexander Fitchett, and his wife, the former Elizabeth Hulbert, deceased was the last of her family, being predeceased by her parents and two brothers and a sister. A-niece from Toronto, by marriage, attended the funeral, along with several cousins and old friends. Mrs. Bulsteal's most faithful friend and her nurse had been'Mrs. Clifford Rombough.
