Notes for Kathleen (Spouse 1)
Wednesday morning July 7, 1926, the United Church, Napinka, was the scene of a very pretty wedding, when Miss Kathleen Newcomb became the bride of Mr. Allan Brigden. Promptly at 11 o'clock the bride enter the church on the arm of her father to the stains of Mendelssohn's wedding march played by Miss Lynette Slater. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Geo. F Denyes under a decorated arch. The bride was becomingly gowned in a georgette dress of ashen roses with a hat to match, and carried a bouquet of tea roses and fern. From the church, the guest's proceeded to the bride's home where a dainty buffet luncheon was served. Amid showers of good wishes the happy couple left on an extended motor trip through northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan, after which they will reside on their farm near Napinka.600

Kathleen died in the Deloraine Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She is buried in the Napinka Cemetery.
