OBITUARY:
Theresa (Jefferson Co., NY)-Gary J. Fitchette, 57, County Route 46, died Monday morning in the emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. He had been ill with cancer. (liver cancer)
Mr. Fitchette was a machine operator at NYAir Brake Co., Watertown, for 13 years and was a carpenter for Garlock Construction Co., Alexandria Bay, for the last 16 years.
Born Sept. 26, 1945, in Watertown, son of Gerald A. and Helen M. Culbertson Fitchette, he graduated from LaFargeville High School in 1964 and attend Rochester Institute of Technology.
Surviving besides his mother, of LaFargeville, a daughter, Tammy Fitchette, New Haven, Conn. and a son, Scott, Sackets Harbor...A son, Jeffrey J., died July 19, 1996. Arrangements for a memorial service at St. John's Catholic Church, La Fargeville, are incomplete. Calling hours iwll be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa.582
