William A Fitchett married Ann Sparrow in 1868. About 5 years after this marriage took place William left his farm and family to settle in Brigden, Lambton County. A life long resident of Brigden recalled the late “Billy” Fitchett, market gardener, as being tall, whiskered and religious. He and Ann were divorced and he later remarried Agatha and Ann married James Juby and lived out her life in Stirling, Ontario.25
