DAVES - At his home five miles north east of Longmont, Monday, February 10, 1913, Francis John Daves, aged 62 years, 10 months and 24 days.
Mr. Daves lived in Weld County, not far from the county line, resided on the farm for about twenty years and was widely known. He has always been interested in politics, a staunch Republican.
He leaves a wife, a son and a daughter.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon and the interment took place at the Mountain View cemetery.171

Mrs. Birdsill formerly lived near and later in Longmont for a number of years. She and her daughter moved to Denver this summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Birdsill will make their home in Berthoud.

Mrs. Melissa Daves Birdsell, 70 year old resident of Loveland, formerly of Longmont, died Saturday morning, March 23, at Loveland. She was born in Kingston, Illinois, and came to Colorado 43 years ago.
Deceased was a member of the Baptist church, and funeral services were held at the Shaw Memorial chapel Monday afternoon in charge of Rev. W. C. Garberson, pastor of the First Baptist church of Longmont. Burial was made in the Mountain View Cemetery.
